The thing was Matins Ferry got lucky and had the right game plan in place for campbell. It has only happen with Salem and Martins Ferry. Campbell can score in a hurry and like lightning. It will be on the defense again to make big stops and determine who goes to week 13. I have a feeling that Lester will play a big part in this game when all is said and done.. Wishes to both teams a safe and hard fought game.
reddevil90, I have to respectfully disagree with you regarding your statement that Martins Ferry got lucky and had the right game plan for Campbell. They were a well coached, quick and disciplined team. They studied the films and did a very good job of keeping Campbell away from making the big play on offense, except for the one TD run. Campbell did just miss a couple of probable TD passes in the game along with a sure pick 6 by one of our linebackers. That happens. But it's best if it does not happen in postseason. It was the Campbell defense that rose to the challenge vs. Ferry. If Campbell continues to play defense like they did last Friday, we will be moving on. I feel that
Manchester will be a bigger challenge because their QB, despite being just a sophomore is much better than the QB for Ferry. Regardless of that, I feel that we need to stop the run first. We need to execute.
