My dad is the same way. He actually had some tests done to determine if he had cancer and told everyone in the family about the test except me. I found out after the test came back. I didn't cry and bitch about it. I know how my dad is and I accepted him for him a long time ago.

Plus, if I did have a problem, I would talk to him about it, not ask a sports message board for sympathy and an explanation. Like anyone on here knows your dad and can give you insight.

Yeah, that is the part that always makes me laugh about these types of threads. How fucking hard is it just to ask THE person whats up? Like the guy who bitched because his brother didn't pay him for housesitting, but who also apparently never said, "I'll housesit for a fee". And now this guy...chrimany...there's the line about "wouldn't drive 2.5 hours" but now his dad leaves a message about coming to see him and he won't call him back because of some other stick up his ass. I'm looking for the thread where his old man says, "Does my son suck? I've called him three times trying to arrange a visit and he won't call me back for no apparent reason."
