Dolphins stroll into Baltimore with a record of 4-3 to take on the 5-2 Ravens. Dolphins are 4-0 on the road. Who wins?

I look for Ed Reed to pick Henne off a time or two. Hopefully one is for 6.

I think the Dolphins will grind this one out. 19-17.

depends on if jason allen is playing.

with allen = bottom 5 in the league
without allen = top 15.

he is that bad.

with that being said, the dolphins don't matchup well with baltimore. vontae davis can lock down boldin (though he'll still have 3-5 catches and possibly a TD). Miami has no run stuffing ability. if you can run it up the gut well, you can start to pick this defense, because they will start to cheat and you can catch them with PA or a screen. Mason will be a good match up for Sean Smith, but if Allen plays instead of Smith, look out for a big day from Mason. Housh is not a threat becaus the dolphins have some good nickel packages to nuetralize the slot. The ravens can stop the rush at times so i think they'll win that battle as the dolphins only have 1 pass rusher (wake). my major concern in this game would have to be the TE for baltimore. Miami is heinous at defending recieving TE.

I think it will be close, but ravens win. 27-26.

I look for it to be a good game. Miami being undefeated on the road scares me.

bengals, packers, vikings, bills.

those are the 4 road games, don't put too much stock into the 4-0 on the road thing.

patriots, steelers, jets

those are the 3 home games. don't put too much stock into the 0-3 at home thing.

the dolphins win the games they should win (bengals, bills, vikings) and stay close in games they shouldn't win (packers, steelers, jets). this is the kind of team they are, they are a 6-10 team that is competitive and plays hard so they will win 2-5 games they shoud lose because of the way they play. i think they'll finish 8-8 but like i said, talent wise they are a 6-10 team.

I hope you are right. I'd like to see my Ravens move to 6 and 2. I'm interested to see if Ed Reed picks Henne off this weekend. By chance do you know how many he has thrown as of yet?

I see now that Henne has 7 picks. Baltimore has won 6 straight games at home.

yeah henne makes some bad decisions but he's actually getting much better. he has only made 1 bonehead throw pergame since the patriots game. it's also no coincidence that his highest three passing totals came in losses. miami knows what they have at QB, an inexperienced gunslinger. he's making progress, but he wasn't ready for the job when he got it. look for them to run it until they get to be more than 1 score down or until late in the game. the don't want henne to make a mistake and lose the game. they also don't want to put him into positions where he has to go out and win it just yet.

he may have a poor completion rating in this game because he throws it away a lot when he's pressured (my favorite thing about him, he doesn't take a lot of sacks). the dolphins O-line is bad. Carey is a turnstile, icognito is bad, jerry and garner have been hurt and berger hasn't been good on passing plays. so look for henne to throw away about 7 passes. i don't think the ravens d will have a huge fantasy day but i'm not going to be surprised if they do.

^ I have only watched 2 Dolphins games so far this season and I thought Henne looked decent in both. I can remember thinking that he would never be an NFL qb while at Michigan but he has definitely proved me wrong. If the Dolphins O line is pretty bad then I can see Ngata, Suggs, and Jaret Johnson attacking Henne a couple times Sunday. Hopefully Mr. Reed can squeeze out a pick or two also.

yes they have to be one of the worst redzone teams when it comes to TD's.

couldn't really dig up anything strictly red zone related but found this and it's flabbergasting.

miami has 11 TOTAL touchdowns (2 Rushing, 8 Passing, 1 Defensive) and 18 FGM. Them having a winning record is nothing short of jaw dropping.
