The problem with the Bengals is not coaching (well maybe their OC Bratkowski but Marvin is a good coach). The issue is the same issue it has been for 20 years, the ownership. The Bengals have the smallest "Scouting Department" in football. It consists of about 3 guys (mostly relatives of Mike B). Meanwhile other teams have staffs of 25-30 people who are hitting college campuses and watching other NFL teams for the best talent. There is a reason the Bengals have three winning seasons in 20 years.
