I forgot all about this thread.

This thread is funnier than anything George Lopez has ever done.

Of course, that's my opinion...and I would be wrong based on numbers from the last tour.

If you all want to watch someone who is just a very funny person, go watch some of the old Victor Borge stuff. They sometimes have a special on PBS. I haven't checked out YouTube to see if they have any of his routines. His comedy is both physical and verbal, without any foul language or without disparaging anyone else. And just for a bonus, he is also a world class pianist.

If you want some classic wholesome comedy without foul language then there's always the original American stand up comedian, Eddie Cantor:

I remember when Andrew Dice Clay sold out arenas too.

Did anyone who was sober and had an IQ above that of cottage cheese ever find him funny?

Three months past expiration, so it's one massive curd with mold spores so large they can be entered into a rodeo.

For what its worth...

I hated George Lopez. The show, the man, everything. I thought he was the absolute worst thing ever. Then I got comped tickets to see his stand up show at the Hilton in Vegas. I would have never paid to see him, but I went to the show. After an hour and half of nonstop laughing, literally in tears laughing. I totally sweat (or is it sweated? Can someone tell me the past tense of sweat?) through my shirt from laughing. He was freaking hilarious. His late night show..terrible. But his stand up..at least for that hour and half on that fateful night...was hilarious.

Sidenote: I love Louis C.K. I got into him when Lucky Louie came out on HBO. I watched the whole first season on demand in a night and then I had to find some of his other stuff. He is great.
