Goodell also supports general dumbassery. Expand to Canadia if anything, but only if you move a current franchise. No more teams need added.

For basketball its not nearly as dumb. Plenty of European interest in basketball, and the NBA is already about 30x as global as the NFL, so its not THAT huge of a stretch. Still might not be the brightest idea, but not even close to the same level of stupidity of the NFL goin over there

The dumb part of it that I feel is if this will be a division that will compete in the NBA, not an NBA Europe league. If it is a European league backed by the NBA then I am fine with that.

This is a frickin retarded idea. Soccer is the World's game, Football is America's game. Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Asian, German, and Africans have no interest in watching football....especially the game being played over there this weekend....49ers vs Broncos!

Goodell has done nothing but made the NFL worse....He is on a power trip and doesn't know when to stop his stupid ideas from coming out of that dumba** head of his.

To his defense, the 49ers and the Broncos sold out Wembley for next weekend. Granted I don't think that would ever happen on a week to week basis.

I don't mind teams playing a regular season game over there but I think they should get a bye after they are over there. As for permanent expansion that would not be a good idea.
