It does change some in the playoffs. But it's still nothing like a college game.
NFL stadiums are loud as shit..but they aren't as loud as college football games (in general). So do NFL crowds not matter either?
Also, where did I say the crowd noise drives an NBA game? I'm saying at some points in the game the home team hits a few shots in a row and the crowd starts to get into it, and it usually helps the home town mentally. Only difference in an NBA and a cb game is how long the crowd goes crazy. In cb, they never stop. In the NBA, they get loud when the team is doing really well or they are trying to get the momentum back.

It's still the same thing I am saying. NFL and NBA crowds do not cheer so loud and crazy the entire game, college fball/bball they just scream the whole game. It's different.
BTW, only a very select few college football stadiums are 100+

I always think a crowd matters. But I will say in NBA, unlike college, I think the travel, hotel room (versus home bed), the food, and the other oddities of being on the road are WAY more important to playing well than the crowd. But thats jmo...I do think the crowd plays a role, but not nearly as big of a role as some other road circumstances.
In college, you typically are living in a piece of shit anyway and getting on the road probably means sleeping in a hotel nicer than yours, eating food nicer than what the athletic dept. serves, and you have time to adjust because you usually get there a day before and the travel is shorter and not nearly as many days/stops on the trip.

Twitter has been so quiet tonight. Figured it'd be blowing up.
I hate hate watching griffin play. He's so lazy. Walks up and down the court. Only time he moves is if he has the ball or is going for an oop.

Knicks give up 108 to the leagues lowest scoring team tonight, sign of things to come or product of more possessions due to fast tempo?

No one is really talking about the Chauncey Billups pickup, but he will have just as big of an overall impact as Melo IMO

The Knicks allow 105.8 points a game.
This is not a big deal.

That old bastard Kobe did it again. In the midst of his decline, Kobe dropped 37 on Portland.. including the game tying shot with 5 seconds left in regulation. LA trailed by 8 with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
And he got "MVP" chants. In Portland. Fuck the Blazers.

I'm told that the #Celtics have pulled ahead of the #Bulls in the Anthony Parker "sweepstakes." #Cavs eying up 2012 Draft.
ABJCavsInsider
One offer on table: AP to Celts for Marquis Daniels. #Cavs would buy him out, send him back to Bos. But Cavs want Bos #1 next yr for helping

Not the most good looking trade we (C's fans) have heard about but we need a backup 3 since Quis is probably for the year.

The fact that "sweepstakes" and "Anthony Parker" are in the same sentence makes me LOL
