So he can dominate an 82 game, 8 month regular season but not a 16-28 game 1 month season?SportsAndLady;679650 wrote:It was a sarcastic reply to skyhook...GOT YOU!

Shit, didn't know it was on. I was locked into a thrilling George Mason/Virginia Commonwealth battle on the U. I did see Wade had 22 in first quarter.Midstate01;679744 wrote:Anyone else just see the 90 foot alley oop from Wade to lbj!??? Wow.

It was awesome. Then Wade had this disgusting turn around high into the air shot that he drained. And I hate the heat... But I can't not watch lbj.

Dahntay Jones doesn't have a chance against Wade tonight.

Absolutely hilarious that Lebron had one pathetic playoff game in his career and now he sucks in the playoffs.

Nice to see Mike Conley rounding into form. He is balling these last few months.

Lebron was awesome in the playoffs. One of the excited times I've experienced was Lebron's 25 of 29 points in game 5 against Detroit. Unreal

Better numbers than Kobe, worse supporting cast than Kobe

Care to elaborate?
Season stats, compared to playoff stats of same year:
05-06 - 31 ppg, 7 rpg, 7apg --- 31, 8, 6
06-07 - 27, 7, 6 --- 25, 8, 8
07-08 - 30, 8, 7 --- 28, 8, 8
08-09 - 28, 8, 7 --- 35, 9, 7
09-10 - 30, 7, 9 --- 29, 9, 8
So, his stats are basically the same, which really says he's improving his play in the playoffs because the game slows down and there is a much bigger emphasis on defense and each possession.

When you get to play crappy playoff teams from the East, for the 1st 2 rounds of the Playoffs, of course you are going to put up some numbers.
But he has certainly had more than 1 bad game in his Playoff career:
5-12-07 - 5-16 18 pts, 12 assists, 6 rebs
5-16-07 - 5-14 20 pts, 5 assists, 9 rebs
5-21-07 - 5-15 10 pts, 10 assists, 9 rebs
5-29-07 - 7-19 19 pts, 6 assists, 7 rebs
6-02-07 - 3-11 20 pts ( he shot 19 Ft's that game), 8 assists, 14 rebs
6-07-07 - 4-16 14 pts, 4 assist, 7 rebs
6-10-07 - 10-30 24 pts, 6 assists, 10 rebs
Thats just for 07
You also say the game "slows down" in the Playoffs, yet lebron shoots 3 shots more per game in the Playoffs.
But he has certainly had more than 1 bad game in his Playoff career:

Wow you really are reaching. So, he plays poor teams in the first two rounds of the playoffs, but only plays the top teams throughout the 72 game regular season?
In those 7 games you listed, I would only consider two of them "bad" games by Lebron's standards.
And yes, it's a fact that the game slows down. And of course he's going to shoot more when his other teammates are not there to help him out.

Just looked up the games you cited, and the Cavs only won two of those games. What does that tell you? It says that when Lebron doesn't have his best game, there isn't anyone else to pick him up and lead the team to victory. Just makes his postseason stats even more impressive.
And most would say that 2007 was his best playoff performance because he personally carried the Cavs to the finals.

You said he played 1 bad game in his Playoff career, even if "you" only consider 2 of those to be "bad" games, you are wrong. Thanks for playing.

Everyone points to ONE game in citing Lebron as a quitter and an under performer in the playoffs. And I said that he had two bad games for Lebron's standards. One of the games I would consider bad was a 10/10/9 game and the other a 14/4/7 game. Neither of which are "bad", but obviously more is expected of Lebron.
You are wrong in your assessment that Lebron doesn't play well in the playoffs. That's a fact.
For every game you cited, I could cite two to prove otherwise.

The funny part about this is if LeBron was still with the Cavs, Dynasty would be on Skyhook's side of the argument.

Not sure how those qualify as bad games. bad shooting nights do not equal poor performances. There are many other aspects of the game other than shooting, such as rebounding, defense and play making.

Reggie Miller didnt even receive enough votes to be considered for the final group for this years HOF inductions? Surprising to me. I guess him not winning any titles is coming back to hurt him.
