I agree jpake. You're one of the few people I know of, both on and off this site, that was actually a Heat fan before this year, so props to you.

I really think come playoff time Miami would be better served to make LeBron a Pippen role. Tell him to rebound, distribute and defend like a madman.

WindhorstESPN Brian Windhorst

ESPN Stats&Info: LeBron was 20-of-20 at line in final minute with score within 5 points. That was best in league until miss today.
Interesting.

^Beat me to it.

He's not clutch though, except for all those stats that over the years have shown him to be the most clutch player in the NBA by quite a margin.

I'd say my argument is pretty solid. Also, when you look beyond the points the way you should the difference is even more staggering.

Well looking at that website and when you look at 10-11 stats and sort if by FG%......

Kobe....38.5%
LeBron....33.3%

FG%? That's all there is to being clutch?

Basically, what those stats will show you (go back a few years, its not that close in a couple of the years he was with the Cavs) is that LeBron is far and away the most productive player in the league during "clutch" time.

As far as this year goes, I'm not surprised his numbers aren't what they were the last couple of years (though the year isn't over, and he has been hitting his stride lately) because he's part of a team with 2 HOF style closers. Kobe is THE closer for LA. But that's fine, LeBron's production can't be denied, the numbers are right there for you.

What does Lebron's clutchometer say for the Playoffs and the NBA Finals?

Keep scrappin' Skyhook, he is who he is...might as well just accept it at this point. And get used to it, the dominance will continue for years to come.

This is true, and correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that what regular season MVPs are based off of?

Might have gotten this thread confused with the other one hating on LeBron, hard to keep it all straight.

I'm pretty sure saying that Lebron dominates regular seasons is not hating, it's the exact opposite...i'm complimenting him on dominating regular seasons

lol, I thought yours was a sarcastic reply to Skyhook. The other thread was debating whether or not LeBron was the leader for MVP this year. I got them confused. My mistake.
