Yes I have but I'll repeat. Va Tech lost (virtually) at home to Boise State. They then lost to FCS opponent James Madison, who is not lighting up FCS by the way--they are 4-3. They then played 6 teams that are not very good. Central Michigan, East Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, Boston College, and NC State. NC State on the road is there big win on the season. That is sad.
Oregon State's schedule, excluding Louisville and maybe Arizona State, is occupied with teams that I would argue are better than every team on Va Tech's schedule. They beat at-the-time #9 Arizona--now #15-- on the road. They lost to #3 Boise State on the road by 13 points. They lost on a neutral field to at-the-time #6 TCU--now #4-- by 9 points. They then lost on the road to Washington in double OT by 1 point. Washington is also no world-beater, but it is not a terrible loss.
I'm not trying to say Oregon State is a very good team. They are a solid team who have played one of the tougher schedules in the country and have had some close games with decent wins. All I'm trying to say is their schedule and results make them better than Va Tech's schedule and results. And this is just completely subjective, but if you watch both teams, you can clearly see the difference in skill level amongst the two teams. I won't add that as a part of my argument, because it has no credibility, but just sayin.
