If they lose, it'll be next week (Nebraska). Rest of their schedule isn't worth a damn.

Plus the Big-12 championship game.

I hate going for two there. Kick the XP and go down one score then if you do score again you obviously try the 2-pointer then. Now you didn't get it and it's a serious uphill climb as it's a 2 possession game.

Illegal touching, my favorite penalty in football.

Nebraska will beat them next week. I have little doubt about it.

I think the rationale behind it is you know immediately whether you'll get the needed two point conversion and can make the decision to onside kick if you do not get it.

We could have a possible 4th upset next week when (soon to be #1) Oregon travels to USC.

This year is Crazy!

I understand that but the flipside is that it's demoralizing as you know right away that you definitely need 2 scores and that seems fairly insurmountable. It's got more to do with the psyche of your team than what the card says.

yeah but if you don't get it you almost have zero chance. Might as well take the point and keep it within 1 score.

And the theory is that you have a play saved for the two-point conversion, so it should work the same whether it's now or after the next touchdown, but it helps to know now whether you need two more scores or one.

Allow me to quote myself from earlier in the game.
krambman;530157 wrote:Audio's working fine for me now.

This is the third straight week that the #1 team in the country is playing a ranked opponent on the road with College GameDay there. And the second straight week that the home team has returned the opening kickoff for a TD. With all of that working against them I don't see how Oklahoma could possibly win this game.

I didn't think about that.

But the offense would also know that they're only up one possession/score so they're not as risky/loose as they are with a 2 score lead. Lots to think about there.

WHY DID OKLAHOMA JUST PUNT ON 4th AND TEN??!! That baffles me. I have to believe either way Missouri would be running out the clock and not attempting to score

I would guess the card says down 15 you kick the PAT, down 16 you go for 2. Bob should have called Bielema.

So when they're down nine with two minutes left they punt, but when they're down nine with 3 seconds left they run a play with a bunch of laterals???

I find it very shocking that you didn't chime in on the ND/Navy thread with your prediction before the game started. If it was so easy, I'm sure a dolt like you would have chimed in.

Good thing they had all those people in the neon green shirts prohibiting fans from storming the field.
