I am very disappointed to hear this. I can almost see the argument of wanting to go play for the Mooney Alum, but why now and not back when he first committed.

Cuz he's an 18 year old kid?

Well why committ in the first place then if your just going to keep looking around?

I know their is no rule against it and it is only a committment, but I think it's a problem the NCAA should look into addressing, coaches calling players who are already committed to other schools

I could be wrong..but once you're committed the school can't take the offer away from you for no reason can they? If that's the case..maybe he was just worried about not getting a better offer so he took the best one on the table at the time.

I could be wrong chiefs, but I think they can. I mean what if a kid verbals, then, later that night, he gets caught selling drugs?

Well..then they would have a valid reason. Lol..that's why I said..'for no reason at all'. I'm sure you're right..I have no clue when it comes to those rules. Was just a thought.

If the head coach gets fired or leaves, i.e. nd and cincy recruits, then there would be no problem for a kid to reevaluate. But if your still going to look around at other schools, then why bother committing in the first place.

Schools can pull an offer any time they want to and players can remove their verbals any time they want to also.

Players commit and decommit all the time. This is nothing new.

Congratulations on your decision to attend the best football school in the country Mr. Heard. As a Nebraska alum, I can honestly say there is no place like Nebraska, especially on football Saturday. I know Columbus and the other Big 10 schools get fired up for home games but it's nothing like Lincoln.

The entire state of Nebraska backs the football program and they are very excited to hear that you are coming. Bo Pelini is a terrific coach and he is doing an excellent job of building our football team back up to the level it was at in the 90's.

I guarantee you won't regret your decision. Best of luck to you, Braylon.
