^^who knows, but the way this season has gone you just never know what will happen on any given night. We have a chance everytime we go out on the court.
One thing is for sure, if we end this season badly(meaning lose agianst Woo and exit early in the tourney).....THEN this thread will become epic and out of control.
n00bs will be showing up at a rapid pace thinking they have all the answers! lol when in reality nobody has had the answer for this team, and if they did, why didn't we do it this year and make another deep run in the tourney.
I'll be jumping back over to the football thread once the basketball season ends. lol how many more days until kickoff?

Approx. 183 or 184 days, but I still think we have at least 4 basketball games left

If we lose to Chippewa...then I'll be one of the ones on here losing my mind.
Chippewa is terrible, and should not give us a game whatsoever. Tuslaw and Black River aren't much better for a potential 2nd round game either.
So unless the kids just quit on the season....we should get to the district semis. And we've seen Hillsdale and NW'n...so who knows from there.

We scrimmaged Black River during the preseason, and they were terrible. We have played Tuslaw twice, and they are almost as bad, but they have some shooters that can get hot and provide some pressure on the ball-handlers... but Orrville should still have no problem with Wasson, Pirman, Brenner, and the other large & athletic kids. Make it a half-court game, and you will dominate them. Try and run, and you may regret it since they are very streaky. In one game, we beat them by 15 after leading by 23. In the other, we lost by 2 at their place after leading by 15 in the 3rd quarter. You have BY FAR the easiest sectional but then you have the toughest district semifinal.

The only thing I like about it is that we've seen Hillsdale. Not sure if that matters any or not, but what they do wont be a mystery to us. But they've seen us too...and we haven't changed much since that matchup in December.

12-5, lost to Senior in the OCC tournament. Joel Zook went down early in that game with an ankle injury, and Senior ran us off the court.

Looking out my window, I'm guessing the game will be canceled tonight.
Neither team has a game tomorrow, so that would make sense to move it back a day. No sense taking chances.

I think the roads will be fine and they will play, but I'm not sure if there is a rule that says "no school=no play"?? I have always wondered this.

love reading about the glory days of orrville bball. I witnessed every game from late 80's til early 2000's. Sure do miss the high scoring games and non stop action of the past!! Your so right that the game has changed....for the worse i feel. But thats what happens....things change!! I still go to as many games as I can get to....all the home games. Go riders.....lets get a win tonight!!

Geez, this team is hard to watch. I was so SMH late in the 2nd Q when Turner on the wing passed to Winters standing beyond the top of the key and he didn't even look for the ball. Wooster scoops it up and lays it in to take a 1 point lead and goes into the half up 20-17. Oh my oh my.
