Michigan's 2012 schedule is INSANE. Already have OSU, Nebraska and Notre Dame on the road, along with Iowa and Michigan State at home.. throw in Alabama in Cowboy Stadium to open the season, and that schedule is murder. Doug Karsch is reporting Michigan will fill the last home slot in 2012 with a "Big time opponent that will blow people away".. Some of the rumors have been WVU, FSU, Boise or USC. Wow..

I've gotta admit, they're throwing down the gauntlet in front of whoever is in charge of that team then.... that's a pretty brutal schedule

Notre Dame and Michigan will both have ridiculous schedules in 2012. Kudos to them for not being pussies.

Tell the bucks fans how its done. Nevermind, they schedule their MAC teams and teams like Miami 24 years in advance.

Geeze, I feel sorry for whoever they bring in after RichRod is let go having that as their schedule their first year in town. That isn't going to be pretty for the Wolverines.

OSU's non-conference for 2012 is:

Miami OH
Cincinnati
Cal
UAB

not exactly horrible.... definately not what your Gators will be playing that year.... just an absolutely rediculous gauntlet of Jacksonville State, Bowling Green, and another blind/deaf opponent to play in addition to the annual beatdown of Florida State....

Alabama isnt goin anywhere, theyre going to reload. Have you seen their recruiting classes and how saban coaches those boys up? Or are you just doing your usual spewing nonsense thing?

cats isn't a Florida fan, excellent try though. Miami OH just got beat by 80 by Cinci who has been discredited on this site time and time again. Cal is not as good as they have been, Nevada hung 50 on them. UAB? They should strike fear into OSU. Don't compare OSU's 2012 schedule to what Michigan has, especially if they do add another big time team.

Well, we can cross Michigan off the National title contender list for 2012. There is a fine line between bravery and stupidity.

Yeah more than likely you are right. If they did run that gauntlet with only 1 loss though...

I agree, if they can run that schedule 1 loss will not hurt too bad.

I hope Michigan comes around, if they return to what they once were it will only make the Big 10 a better conference and once again make the OSU vs Michigan rivalry a more primetime event.

Now if we can only get Notre Dame into the Big 10 with their storied history, all will be grand. :)

Not a gator fan. But, in 2012 LSU has no one any good for OOC unless Washington turns it around. Next year they have Oregon and WVU though. And in 2013 and 14, LSU plays TCU. Cant wait for the TCU games.

You know what isn't tough? Learning the difference between "your" and "you're." Let's use some examples:

"You're not allowed to play kickball in my gym class!" -- YOU ARE not allowed to play kickball in my gym class.

"Your gym teacher is a complete moron." -- The class' gym teacher is a complete moron.

darbypitcher I have no angst for you, so I'll let you slide this time. :) But you're (see how I did that ccrunner?) absolutely right about Michigan in 2012.

Miami gave Florida all the could handle if I recall, and they are a bottom MAC team team. I dont care who Michigan schedules, if obviously isnt helping them beat us.

ND is not a tough game, but yes that is a very strong schedule, especially having to run the gauntlet of Iowa, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Ohio State, really any Big Ten team outside of Minnesota and Indiana.

Not too sure who's hanging their hat on that schedule.

If OSU announced these kind of games, it would be a 10 page thread..

Just like it was 5 years ago on JJ.. OSU announced they were playing USC, Miami and Cal, everyone about shit.

Yeah just discussing the schedule, the only person that made it sound like a big deal and took a jab at OSU fans was a LSU fan. Settle down

He is an SEC fan, not an LSU fan. :D

P.S. I love the schedule, always like seeing great programs matching up against other great programs out of their conference...some of my favorite OSU moments have been watching them play Texas, USC, etc., no matter the outcome.

Ur right, it would be a LONG thread. Much to discuss when your good. But when your going to get your ass handed to you, well then....
