College coaches at the type of programs that showed interest in Max don't whiff too often. For what and who we were playing may not fit Max to a tee. He has work to do to be a player at a big ten school...I am sure he would tell you that as well. Go ahead and ignore him Saturday night.....go ahead.

When you say, "For what and who we were playing may not fit Max to a tee." That smacks of making excuses for his lackluster play! To be considered a DE force to be reckoned with, that should have been seen even in the Clear Fork game at some point, especially since he did not play much on offense. They didn't ignore him, he was just never a factor in stopping their run attack. Or their passing, (the few times they did pass).

I will re-iterate what I said before...just treat him like any other High School DE and see how QB 1 likes it.
