The rescue capsule they will use to get the miners out just reached where everyone was trapped for the first time. CNN is showing the rescue live and there is a camera inside the mine. Unbelievable how they do this. Anyone else watching?

Cannot imagine 69 days trapped inside of a mine. Unfathomable.

They said earlier that some of the miners reported losing more than 30 pounds while they were down there. Its between 80 and 90 degrees at the spot they are at.

I would need to lose more than 30 pounds just to fit into that rescue pod.

He was the healthiest of the 33. Don't know why they went healthiest first.

They had drilled a narrow tube a while back that was able to send food/water down regularly, as well as notes and stuff from relatives.
I'm not sure exactly how the air quality held out as long as it did, they may have dome something there too.

I thought I heard they took the healthiest one out first since there was such a dramatic temperature change from the hole to the surface, that they wanted to see how the miners would react.

One of the guys they had on said they weren't sure the capsule would be able to get to the surface with a human in it. Crazy to think of what we could have witnessed on live tv if something had gone wrong. These guys seem to be in really good shape.
