Well JMar...i said at the beginning...This year is the Year of The Husky.....and everyone called me crazy. Then The Twins MOVED into the district. I still said we are young, loaded with freshman and sophmores....still got blasted. Northwestern is wrestling well and appears to be deep. Things hinge on OHSAA decisions as to the outcome of WCAL 1-4 finishing TEAMS.

You talk about goosebumps....im speechless right now, but I still gotta call Northwestern the Favorite. Its going to come down to bracketing. Waynedales Hammers and Northwesterns hammers dont exactly match-up...with the exception of Stanley--Topp..but you gotta throw Heldrenbrand and Bramley into that convo. Like I said, with possible ramifications to the Bears line-up, its hard to project things ATM.

well , well , well ........ Mr. Miyagi goes to Japan for 3 weeks to pick up some new temporary hotties for the WOK and checks in to the OC and finds lots going on..... Now Mr. Miyagi is not going to comment on this eligibility issue without knowing all the facts and should keep his mouth shut.......but if it is as simple as what is being said ,Mr. Miyagi thinks this will be reversed in a timely fashion and we will see them on the mat.........
But , as always, Mr.Miyagi has some observations to point out...........

1 JMAR is going to miss the WCAL tourney........ where is your priorities ???

2 Redrum is a TRAGIC TRAGEDY

3 Bloody toothbrush has been way to quiet, he must be ready to explode

4 4ringz is thin skinned about being called thinskinned

5 me-myself and I = tragedy-crying shame and catastrophic

6 if wild bear doesnt know what a donnybrook is he shouldnt be on the wrestling forum

7 rather throw ya is looking at dirty wrestling singlets and inspecting tattoos

8 beast let Miyagi hear the hillbilly mafia ROAR !!!!

9 clever guy is now a hero!!!! congrats

10 Finally........ falcon81..... please be Miyagi's hero and name the Husky " Ace In The Hole" will ya ?? we here in Huskyland cannot let waynedale be the only one with controversy ........ and from the looks of the eligibility thread it looks like you personally have upped OC's membership......lots of first timers just joined posting there.......... will wait to hear who this ace in the hole is.....ever think of writing a book on this situation? might help recoup legal cost... autograph one and send to ringz for some good ole wcal reading

Miyagi thinks that wcal will be another barn burner no matter who wrestles.... unlike beast Miyagi thinks Bears are favorite.... way to deep........huskies also deep......going to be close.......who is going to rise to the occasion??????

will be watching the huskies this weekend and Myagi will let everybody know if someone gets thrown from the balcony

Yes, its going to be a quite a show over in J-Ville. NWN/WD will be in a real dogfight. I think the Huskies may be a little deeper but the Bears will have more Big scorers. The real drama will be what weight alot of people compete in.

As always, one of the Big 2 will reign. Unlike other years, I think another dogfight will occur for third between Chippewa & Norwayne. Its even possible (depending on who wrestles where) that all 7 schools could walk away with a champion.

Addressing the Nelson situation, I predict they'll be cleared to wrestle. Tuslaw won't be there, so I don't see much drama coming out of that. There may be some hard feelings over Northwestern getting implicated early on, but hey, thats typical Husky/Bear rhetoric every year. A couple years ago I got a flat leaving the county tournament and I'm positive one of those dirty, rotten, poop & pee colored, jello eatin' scroundrels from the Sea of Gold did it! (LOL)

And speaking of the Sea of Gold, they will be probably 25-30% of the crowd. They will be loud and boisterous and a little verbal volleyball between them and other fans is the norm. Actually confrontations among themselves is the norm! It's all part of the WCAL tournament and even though I'm a Husky fan, I will admit the Bears have by far the biggest fan base and the tournament wouldn't be as exciting without them--- besides none of the rest of us have the vocal chops to yell "stalling" for 6 consecutive minutes!!

Yeah, its gonna be fun over at Hillsdale. Then, all true wrestling fans become WCAL fans the rest of the way.

#1. Them accusations, name callin and disrespect for BROWN n GOLD....Why I oughtta.....Alice....Imma send ya to the mooooon!!!!!

Hey..trin' to find Mapleton High School here. There sayin' North out of Nankin to a brook called "Donny" and just over the hill. I'm afraid Bears might get whoopin'. Close one with Tusky Valley and Dover just spanked us!! County's fair game for all.
WCAL
noun

A quarrel, fight, or disturbance marked by very noisy, disorderly, and often violent behavior: affray, brawl, broil2, fray, free-for-all, melee, riot, row2, ruction, tumult. Informal fracas. Slang rumble. See attack/defend.

Actually this does per-tend to history class: Donnybrook - a suburb of Dublin Ireland renown for it's tumultuous, alcoholic related fair back in 1852.,,

Boy I can't wait! This is going to be fun, fun, fun.

I know right....well here is the funny thing.... I will be getting an up close and personal look at the pac-7 teams... hoping to make finals since they don't take that silly 2 hour break before finals... So I'm trading in bracket-gate, hillbilly mafia, seas of gold, aces in the hole, and donnybrooks for sophisticated, well behaved, mild mannered public vs. private action.

A Nelsonless Bear team @ county will take a lot of the juice out of the competition. Louie will shift around, but those are big shoes to fill. Like the beastie said the huskies were the favorite before and are still the favorite. The talent at Norwayne and Chippewa will help put Bears on the lookout. It may put a ding in the "always in the hunt" t-shirts. Like has been in many past years things will come down to marquee matches and not team race. So then best marquee matchups?

As already mentioned 152 the farmer vs the golden son. On paper the edge goes to the state qualifier, but this is county. Runner up as a team, but a key victory here will salve the wound for bear fan.

112...if Harter bumps there's a potential Jr. High barn burner rematch with Hall & Gregan. This may become a nice rivalry. I can tell you one thing, she hates Gregan.

Help me out here because I know I'm missing some. What are your key matchups, possible MVW predictions?

JMar....Let me guess...your favorite flavor is vanilla and your favorite position is missionary. C'mon man...come to the dark side...the wild, woolly WCAL is where its at this year. Everyone knows who's gonna win the PAC...not so with the WCAL!
Anyway...just kiddin', CVCA is always fun to watch. If you get a chance, post results.

Miyagi......Japan my butt!!!....read an article that said a bunch of cats were stolen from a humane society in Michigan. Don't be surprised if the Sweet n Sour Chicken at Miyagis Wok has a feline flavor to it.

Beast & Bear...I don't think it will be a "donnybrook" at Hillsdale....I'm thinking more along the lines of a "brookydon"
DEFINITION: Brookydon-1. An event the occurs only when a bunch of bass ackward Wayne County Hellbillies are stuffed into a gym watching contact sports without the company of their favorite beverage...Meisterbrau!!!!!

R-Man or Rum....How bout 103? Who are the favorites? Are there even 4 wrestlers in this class?

I'm pretty sure Topp will go 145 & Hershey will go 140. Isn't Stanley 145?

Despite the crazy schedule and chain of events it is great to see this back on topic like it should be. Team Nelson will be there in full to Support the Golden Bears Tonight at Mapleton! We will be back in this line up for sectionals after next friday's hearing. Sectionals will be intense and no mercy will be shown to our old neighbors and no there will be no hand shaking and now you understand why. A handshake means something and is a mutual sign of respect. Wayne county schools will rule at sectionals and there will be no prisoners. Scores will be taken to the max before the pins and all will be legal and above board. Look forward to facing my old neighbors man to man! WRESTLING the only sport in High School where you can get up close and personal,"Mano a Mano" and no more rules like in JR. HIGH where the Twins were banned from any contact with Tuslaw kids cause they were to hard on the other kids. All God willing and a good outcome next Friday. Go Waynedale tonight! I'll be coaching! My wife will be on the Camera, the twins will be warming uo and cheering on their teammates and school! Extra free Team Nelson shirts will be available as requested and promised! GO BEARS!!!!!

Wow... I've never been profiled before... It came out exact too! I don't like to bring my cellular device to area of action for multiple reasons, mainly because of distraction purposes but I will do my best to keep you updated toothbrush.

Here is the link to the DR article: http://www.the-daily-record.com/news/article/4970183

Glad to see the Daily Record giving Spence and his family some face time. Spence and his family are CLASS-ACTS and a great example of what WCAL wrestling is all about! Best of luck Huskies!

Probably right about weights on Hershy, Topp. Also Stanley at 145. Maybe confused by article today. But then again this is "COUNTY"! You just don't know what might happen! Maybe Bears bump the line. Wow how 'bout a Hall/Beam match up. Anything goes at the WCAL.

Beast,
Whats your opinion on the Mapleton 103? Is he (Durbin) looking like the sectional favorite?

Kowatch hasn't really put his young program into alot of tough competition yet, so its hard to get a read on guys like Durbin & Naymik. I way overestimated the Mounties HWT from last year, this year I'll let others evaluate Mapleton grapplers.

Beam/Catanazite(spelling)....Did it happen? Was it epic?

Durbin is very solid. I knew coming in had had nice ability. Not sure about about black rivers 103, but at this point, i would say Durbin is the 103 sectional favorite. The Beam/Cantanzarite match happened. Cantanzarite is a gmer, brings a funky style and is a good kid, but Zeb is just on a different level. Beam wins 25-10. Mounties HWY is a big kid, but with the likes of flinner, reausser, kelby, schock? and i may be missing someone, (loudonville maybe?) i dont see him getting to districts either.

Beast - I can't believe I'm gonna ask about sectionals before County... Do see a team favorite? Point scorers all over the place... No Manchester this year, and I don't think we picked up any teams.
