I hope you know I was joking devil. And I'm sure whatever the injuries, they were trumped up to make better news.

Making jokes about this is in poor taste.

Tiger's agent released a statement that Tiger is not in serious condition and will be fine.

So why is it in poor taste?

Then what's the big deal about joking about it. You think just because he's Tiger Woods he was the only person to be in a car accident today?

Just saw on ESPN News, facial lacerations. Not as "serious" as what was first reported.

Whoops...I scanned through it before I posted and didn't see Zwick's post. Sorry for the double post.

So, what exactly are "facial lacerations"? Are we talking huge cuts on his face or some small scratches? It's pretty vague.

I would assume there were some broken windows/windshield that probably cut his face. If they were really bad, he would still be in the hospital most likely.

A car can be going 70 and the airbags not deploy.

Why would anyone go that fast out of their own driveway?

No one was stating that anyone would be going 70 out of their driveway. The statement was made because Tiger was "only" going less than 33 mph and the airbags didn't deploy.

The poster just stated that airbags sometimes don't deploy in accidents involving high rates of speed...in response to those questioning why the airbags didn't deploy.

I question why anyone would NOT be going that fast out of their driveway.

Yeah, I know that. Still, going less than 33 or over 70, I don't understand how you hit a hydrant than a tree leaving your driveway.

He did not go to ORMC so I think the injuries were not serious. He is fine now, according to his agent. He was basically treated and released. The pic on pg 1 is the wrong house. I think he still owns that one too though. You would not believe how many guys own more than one house in Isleworth.

I have no clue what caused this accident but I can tell you working for an insurance company, people never cease to amaze me with their accidents. The stuff they hit in their driveways will blow your mind!
