Big Ben's return. Will he be rusty?

Steelers can't afford a slip up here with a tough stretch of games coming up.

I thought Cleveland's defense played very well today against a good Atlanta offense. This could be an old fashioned defensive battle. Either way Pittsburgh by at least 10.

AFC North Standings

Baltimore 4-1
Pittsburgh 3-1
Cincinnati 2-3
Cleveland 1-4

Baltimore at New England in Week 6
Cincinnati bye in Week 6

Looks like a two-team race unless Pittsburgh falls off then Baltimore will run away with it.

We can all agree on 1 thing.

Steeler fans will know less about the game of football since the quality of the game isnt up to their standards.
Browns fans will be be more knowledgeable from watching the Steelers for 4 quarters.

I don't know if they'll be around that long.

Or they might be running onto the field by the fourth quarter.

Big key for Pittsburgh will be the cohesiveness of their offense with Ben having his first game of the season.

Big key for Cleveland will be health, particularly that of Wallace and Hillis. Browns have been great at staying in games and giving themselves chances to win, but if they have to rely on Delhomme and Hillis isn't at (or close to) 100%, I think they'll about have to hope the Steelers shoot themselves in the foot to have a chance at this one.

I will say, the Browns are getting better. Talent level is apparent on both sides of the ball.

They just desperately need a quarterback like a lot of these other teams.

Steelers have to be careful not to look ahead. They have a lot of tough games and a loss to the Browns would be crushing. And the Browns will play a tough game. Steelers should be able to make enough plays in the passing game to pull away but if Ben comes back with a real sucko performance they could lose.

The Browns put a lot of pressure on Ryan and he looked rattled at times. And not real comfortable when being flushed out.

The Falcons also don't have a lot of depth with their receivers outside of White and Gonzalez.

I think Ben will be able to move around and find a lot more open receivers, whether it's Ward, Wallace, Miller, Randle El.

My favorite play of all time....and I was in the bleachers when it happened. Watchin Bradshaw spasm on the ground for 5 minutes was awesome! As for the game itself, I look for the Brownies to rise up and extend their winning streak over these frauds to 2.

As for the division race, Baltimore will be sitting/resting players with 4 games to play.

Defense hasn't been playing bad the last few weeks. The key will be the health of Wallace/Delhomme and Hillis. I don't think Delhomme was 100% today and it showed in how poorly he played. Either him or Seneca needs to be 100% for us to have a shot. Same goes for Hillis. Our offense seems to go as he goes. If a healthy Hillis can tear up Baltimore, he can do it against anyone.

September 10, 1989 Browns
51-0 Three Rivers Stadium Biggest margin of victory within the rivalry to date. Also the worst loss for the Steelers in franchise history.

New enough for you? No?

You can call it a must need victory, desperation effort, their Super Bowl or whatever....but Cleveland will without any doubt play their best game thus far.

Why was Bradshaw spasing? Did the Cleveland player steal his 4 Super Bowl rings, put them on and then clock him or what?
