Go wherever you feel comfortable with. Check out the campuses, profs etc... and go from there. As my dad said they never asked where or how you got they just want to to know if you got it.

If you haven't looked into it, you should consider the University of Cincinnati for the same reasons. They have a real solid engineering program and their co-op program is top notch.

Also, going to OU-Z may set you back a year atleast on graduating with an engineering degree. Have a friend down here who went to OU-C and couldn't take certain classes, the Calc/Physics/Chem sequences are only offered once through the whole year, so if you don't take Math 263A fall quarter than you won't be able to take B and C the following quarters.

If I lived in Ohio and wanted to be an engineer (oh wait, I am), it would be between those two.

If you wanted to do chemical or polymer engineering I would go to Akron.

If you want to do anything else I'd probably go to OSU, but do consider looking into Akron's design team/program they do in the MechE department every year where for a design class the students design/build a baja car for engineering colleges competitions. I only bring this up because it would be GREAT on a resume if you want to work in the auto industry.
