If sanchez continues this play, the Jets are the best. Now that isn't likely, because sanchez is a little chode but at the moment I think Jets are the best for that reason alone. Now, in reality I rank the NFL in groups. 3 teams at the top of the NFL with Ravens, Jets, and Falcons. Just below them are Colts, Patriots, Steelers, and the Packers. Everyone else falls into place as they go.

The Jets biggest win so far came at home against New England.

Falcons beat the Saints on the road.

Jets lost at home to the Ravens.

Falcons lost on the road to the Steelers.

And the Jets still lost to the Ravens so if both teams are at 3-1 and the Jets lost the head-to-head meeting on their home field that's advantage Ravens.

Head-to-head isn't always the determiner, especially when it gets later in the year, but there have only been four weeks and two of the Ravens wins came against the Jets and Steelers (both on the road).

Manning, Wayne and Clark are great. Carcon and Collie have the benefit of Manning throwing to them. Put them on another team and they're nothing special. There are a lot of RB tandems I take over Brown and Addai.

Thats true. But if you are simply basing it off of talent, I still think the Colts win. If its off of production/talent/cohesivness Colts win in a landslide.

I DO think Collie is a great WR though. He was great at BYU (granted competition sucked) and is proving it in the NFL. Now, as for the RBs, I honestly dont think that running they arent too great. But find me a better pass catching and blocking/blitz blocking RB than Joe Addai. There may be one that I am not thinking of, but he is one of the best in the game bar none.

But at the same time, you cant tell me that:
Manning > Sanchez
Clark > Keller
Wayne > Holmes

The rest would mostly go to the Jets, but not by as much as the first three go to the Colts, imo.

Well yeah you would because Collie/Garcon are the colts 3rd and 4th options whereas braylon and santonio/cotchery are 1st and 2nd. Which was what I was getting at in my post, that the colts have more depth and talent than the jets at those positions. I wasn't calling you out mr sensitive man, I was just pointing out that the jets<colts in this argument.

Manning is better than Sanchez, and it's definitely not close. Manning is one of the GOATs and Sanchez is in his second season.

So while the Colts have better talent at the top the Jets have better talent top to bottom, IMO.

lulz. I'm not angry or sensitive.

Holmes will be the Jets #1 and Keller will likely fall back to the #2 target.

This puts Braylon/Cotchery against Collie/Garcon. I just believe that the Jets have the edge in that matchup. And Brown/Addai aren't even close to LT/Greene.

I think you are undervaluing Garcon and Collie and I am undervaluing Cotchery and Edwards.

Id guess we will agree to disagree. I do think Keller and Clark are close than most do...but not Wayne. I think he is way better than anyone on the Jets by a long shot.

Maybe. I just think you can plug anyone in there with Manning at #3 and #4 and they'll put up the same numbers as Garcon and Collie. Manning is that good.

Maybe. But at the same time I thought the EXACT same thing when Reggie Wayne was making a name for himself. I think Garcon has all the physical tools to be elite, but hasnt shown it yet. Collie has no physical tools to be elite, but is a fantastic route runner and has great hands. Is is actually similar to Marvin Harrison in those aspects, but not as good.

I will say Peyton can make anyone look good, and puts the ball only where his guy can make the catch a lot. But sometimes, because he does that, the catches are very tough and the Colts WR make it happen.

I think a lot of it also has to do with Peyton and his perfection/work ethic. Reggie was known as a guy who had an ego and didnt like to work coming out of the U. Not even close to the case right now. Braylon and Holmes have was more talent than Collie or Garcon on the surface, but because Peyton demands the work and perfection etc they run perfect routes and thus end up with better numbers than most 3/4 options. Plus Braylon cant catch anything

Im with you though. RB are significantly in favor of NYJ. Although Id like to see what Donald Brown can do for 16 games as the #1. Joe Addai is THE MAN for Peyton now almost exclusively for his blocking, blitz pick up, and his catching lol.
