Why shouldn't Baltimore be ranked # 2? They are 2 horrible calls away from being 4-0 (I don't usually go with the what ifs like that but I had to in this case).

I'm not sure if I'd consider them better, but if Flacco ever gets his head out of his ass, the Ravens have a lot of weapons on offense as well. Flacco, Mason, Heap, Rice, McGahee, Boldin, TJ. Plus, they should be getting Stallworth back sometime during the season.

The Ravens have some weapons, no doubt, but the only receiver I'd take over anyone the Jets have is Boldin.

They got beat by a not very good Bengals team and almost got beaten by the team that beat the not very good Bengals team (the Browns). They were impressive, defensively, against NY & Pittsburgh but the Browns ran all over them, offensively.

So how would you rank the teams BR? You don't have to do the whole league. Just do the top 10 or 15.

Atlanta the #1 team?? I think that is way too high, especially considering the fact they are just a 3 point favorite at Cleveland this week.

If John Carney were on the Saints roster from the beginning of the year and Nate Clements falls down after his pick, the Falcons are 1-3. Can't say they are the #1 team in the league. Jets, Ravens, Steelers are top 3 with the edge going to the fuckin New York Jets as of now. All other teams are fuckin slap dick teams.

The Ravens would be in the top 5 because, as has been mentioned, I think the Jets, Steelers & Ravens would be the top 3 teams. I just think that given what the Steelers have done, with less offensively, they are better than Baltimore. Baltimore may have beaten Pittsburgh but I highly doubt the Steelers only put up 14 points if Ben the Weiner Impaler is at QB. I would have it 1. Jets 2. Steelers 3. Rats

I don't think any NFC teams are worthy of being in the conversation with those three either. The Saints haven't looked impressive and the Falcons were lucky that Nate Clements is a dumbass or they'd be staring at 2-2.

I can understand Baltimore maybe being ranked over the Falcons since they did beat the Steelers who were previously on top of the power rankings done on OC. The Steelers also I could understand being ranked over the Falcons because they beat them head to head. But the Jets? You lost to the only good team you've played to date. You will make the playoffs yes im betting, because your division is set up for you to win. The bills are awful(who you beat to get a win), the Phins are prettttty bad and have no QB as we saw last night, and the Patriots have a few weapons on offense but are VERY young and inexperienced on defense and that will cost them at the end of the season.

The Falcons lost to the steelers yes on the road, opening day(without big ben, which kind of makes it worse) then knocked off the super bowl champions, and beat 2 teams we were supposed to (much like you beat buffalo and miami,so we're both 3-1 both of us have wins against 2 pretty bad teams. And the difference is we beat the defending champions and you beat a decent NE team. (im sure you'll point out that NE has the same record as NO)

So id put it 1-2 Ravens/Steelers 3. Falcons 4. Jets

So you explain to me how the Jets are better, without saying "well on paper we have more weapons"

Did the Jets not also beat a decent NE team? Atlanta is a very good team but at this point its hard to put them up in the elite category. They have 1 convincing win against Arizona.

I think the Jets, Ravens and Steelers are all real close.

But the Ravens beat the two other teams -- Jets and Steelers -- head to head.

That's why I give them the slight edge at this point.

All three of those teams you really can say they have great defenses and the offenses have potential to be very good.

If the Steelers put it all together I think they win the Super Bowl. They have the highest ceiling when you combine their defense and offense when both are playing at their best.

Sanchez and Flacco are starting to take that step but Ben has more experience and has already won.

Wallace, Ward and Miller would've torched the Ravens on Sunday if Ben played. That secondary was soft but with Batch in there they couldn't attack them.

Well they will have their chance to "torch" the Ravens with Ben in December. Of course barring injury Ed Reed will be back by then.

Bennett

Only thing stopping the Cowboys is the O-line.

I don't think they'll torch them next time because it's in Baltimore and they'll have to deal with the crowd noise.

That'll be another low scoring game.

But I think if Ben had played Sunday at home the Steelers could've gone after the secondary a lot more.

The Steelers offense has a lot of potential. They had a prolific offense last year but the injuries on defense kept them from being a complete team.

It's not an excuse but everyone points that stuff out when the Steelers get the advantage in calls, but not when it's the other way.

Not the slightest bit.

I know nobody wants to make excuses but this happens in the NFL.

Sometimes the Steelers get the calls their way but then some games they have to overcome the officiating a little bit. Good teams are able to and the Steelers did not and that's their fault.

But if it comes down to playoff games between the Steelers-Jets, Steelers-Ravens, Jets-Ravens, those will all be tough games and the officiating is going to be a big part of the game. It's hard to predict how that goes.

Sanchez has made 0 (zero) mistakes this season. The Jets haven't turned the ball over in, I think, 14 quarters.

Yes, the Jets lost to the Ravens. The Jets played like absolute shit, had just 50 fewer penalty yards than total yards, yet only lost by one point.

Patriots are 3-1 and the Jets smoked them. Sure, these aren't the Pats of old but they still have Tom Brady and the Jets shut them out in the 2nd half. The Bills and Dolphins aren't good but division games are always tough. Jets went 1-3 against the Bills and Dolphins last season (2-4 in the division overall) yet this season they are already 3-0.

And yes, they have more weapons on paper, but those weapons are contributing. Keller has 5 TDs. Braylon has 2. LT is averaging over 6 ypc. Brad Smith is the best player in the NFL at running the "Wildcat" offense.

Oh yeah, they also get Holmes, Revis and Pace back this week. If they do their normal thing (even if Revis regresses a little) the team only gets better. If all 3 suck (chances of that are 0%) the team is still one of the top 3 in the NFL.

I'm not saying the Falcons are a bad team. Clearly they are a good team. Probably the best team in the NFC (Packers may be better) I just feel that the top 3 AFC teams are better than anyone in the NFC and it isn't particularly close. Sorry to hurt your feelings.
