Yea...pitch by pitch of a Yankees game. Over 100 posts..all by him. I did that for a Bowl Game last season, after I got to 10 with no responses, I called it quits.

I remember it too and it was dumb. You even stated that the whole purpose of the thread was to try and set a record for consecutive posts. Why would anyone let you do that after you stated that was the whole purpose of the thread and after you asked everyone to not post on the thread? Especially since you had to wait 30 seconds in between posts it was easy for people to ruin your efforts. You got so pissed anytime anyone else would post and you'd always try to start over again. It was pretty funny.

Darby's thread wasn't nearly as bad as they guy who started cycling threads after every stage of like the Tour of Missouri that no ope ever read or posted on.

I was giving play-by-play over on JJ for a high school playoff game one time and competing with another guy doing the same thing. My PBP was more detailed and I was quicker getting it in, so several of the people following the thread told the guy to quit but he didn't until a mod came in and threatened to ban him. I probably had well over 100 posts in that thread.
