^He's not the greatest because he's not a good enough passer. He's effective, and with the talent around him that is enough to win games, but he's not an elite passer. He is top 5, but he's not #1.

The lady on First Take summed up Tebow pretty well - he may end up being the "most accomplished" player of all time, but that doesn't necessarily make him the "best" player ever.

It is possible to distinguish between individual talent - strengths and weaknesses - and how those were parlayed into success - titles and awards. Tebow has some holes in his game, but he compensates for them, sometimes by relying on his team. Adding to the difficulty of saying who is "best" is the difference in what each position is asked to do. Tebow doesn't really throw a great ball, despite his efficiency. I don't know that you could find a real weakness for guys like Herschel Walker and Barry Sanders.

I didn't necessarily mean for my reasons to prove why he's not the best, just stating the opinion of probably 80% of the American population that A) Doesn't live in Northern Florida, or Florida in general and B) isn't a bandwagon Gator fan

OK, I can't argue with the last few posts. Tebow is not the most spectacular athlete, passer. Great player, but not the GOAT. Most accomplished for sure if they win out. I do think Tebow is the greatest LEADER and will be regarded as the GOAT by many if they win out.

the noles could really throw a wrench into the bcs with a win. i highly doubt it will happen , but it will be interesting to see what happens if the noles win this game . i would suspect the sec will do what ever they can to protect bama and guarantee a spot in the bcs title game

If Auburn would have got the W today I'd say Florida State might have a better shot at pulling the upset. Now that they haven't, I don't see Florida State putting up much of a fight

Florida's Nike creations are terrible. Seriously, who thinks this crap looks good? Especially in comparison to what they wear every week?

(I know they are showcasing and testing new fabrics...) but why can't they make the uniforms look like they always do? Why come up with an extra dooshy design?

Well I guess we can forget the upset; the SEC is now guaranteed to have one team in the National Title game; Auburn really needed to pull that off yesterday so Bama could beat Florida and Nebraska beat Texas and wreck the BCS... but alas it won't happen...
