More WPIAL teams getting national props got to love it . Ill check it out . I hope McKeesport demolishes everybody like Woodland Hills did last year and then maybe just maybe people will look more closely at our town . We are finnaly getting some highlighted games but I want more publicity.

The Big Red-Morgantown game is the one that should be nationally televised. Both teams are ranked number one in their respective states. Big Red has three shutouts and one quasi-shutout. M-town has been averaging 50 points a game. This game will be huge, and people all over the country should have the chance to see it.

I think we will get there FK . This is a step in the right direction as was the rally at the Wolverina and last year at Wheeling Island . Does anybody know if this event will continue? I can already tell those people it will be a success.

The Massillon or Ursuline games would draw a much better football audience on a national level. We have zero history with Morgantown and saying Morgantown is the #1 team in WV is like saying I was the best kick baller at Buena Vista(BV). It changed from recess to recess. lol

From word at the HS, I doubt they will do it again. It's a pain in the butt to do this and they give up a lot to put this on. We have had programs printed up already(since summer) for the Morgantown game and we are not allowed to sell them at all , cause the people who are footing the bill for the sat games has their own programs and whatever else they are selling. Contracts, contracts, contracts......again I am actually surprised we are allowed to have the concession stand open. They will all be good games.
They are expecting a nice crowd, in and out all day. tickets have not been sold out, I doubt they will be for this longggggg day.

That's just business though, sponsors always run the show(figuratively, not literally). This seems like a nice event, not only for the school, but for the city as well. Anytime you can bring that many people into town, it's worth the hassle and long workday to help the school and community.

Good for the school. You get a program this solid, you reap the benifits of it.

"We'll make more money by traveling up there than we did in five home games last year,'' Bowers said. "Economically, it makes sense. We've got bills to pay.''- John Bowers.

They sure must not have too much attendance . I would be supprised if they brough 500 fans . Iggy will probably bring 1,000 and so will Bridgeport and Wheeling Central. Don Brosco 100 The other local football fans might bring 500 or so maybe more . Should be a packed house .

LOL. i agree. I'm a Big re fan but they are no ball of fire on offense and M-town has been putting up 50 in WV. This may be a good game but not one that the nation needs to see. I'm glad the nation won't be seeing our offense, in fact.

Ive heard a lot about how Big Reds offense is not really all that good but look at the numbers Vs Inkster was up 30-0 when 1st string offense was subbing in new players, so who knows how many more they might have scored, Vs McKeesport they only scored 7 but look how much bigger in size compared to Big Red they were and they were physical plus don't forget with one minute left in game they took over inside the 5 and might again have scored, Vs Brooke once again 1st string was up 28-0 before subbing ( yes one was defensive ) and getting 5 yards a carry on average, maybe if they play most of 3rd and 4th quarter there might be another 2-3 tds, never know, Vs DC offense scored 14 and had a drop in the end zone that would have made 21 and they were big and physical. so just look at the numbers 1st string is scoring compared to time that they play.

What are you talking about that we printed up programs for this game? We were supposed to play this game in Morgantown. Maybe they printed up programs, but we didn't.

If we had played this game in Morgantown, we would have cleared about a thousand dollars. By playing in Rally in Death Valley, we will clean up financially. Trust me, the school wants to continue to play this rally far into the future.

There will be a shuttle bus running from Eastern Gateway Community College to the stadium. Parking is free and the bus will run every half hour starting at 11:00AM. Park in the lot facing John Scott Highway.

Cheers.

Season ticket holders have the seating printed on them. Anyone sitting there will be removed by security which has been beefed up for these games. If the security rent-a-cop is a wimp, extra police have been added for this game. Enjoy the games; there will be plenty of seating for all.

Cheers.

In an interview last night, Reno said he's in favor of continuing these games. I'll bet he gets it done; just as soon as he parts the Dead Sea again.

Cheers.

I doubt that Iggy brings 1,000 fans. They generally don't travel well unless it is a big playoff game. Since they are down, I wouldn't expect even 500 Iggy fans.

Believe me we printed up programs for this one game! trust me !

I have one!

The season ticket holders for the Big Red game is just for the big red game. If you get up after the game and someone else takes your seat they have that right.
( just saying ) !
