Although it is only week 3, he is being mentioned in the Heisman race on a weekly basis. I would say that is a little better than "nothing special." But that type of comment is expected from you.

I'm happy with his improvement....but I'm still unsure where he will end up in the next level. Like already said....he has a lot of time to get better.

Hey guys, its only 3 weeks and only playing cupcakes. Its "too early" to start a thread like this..........

And on a serious note, I know OSU fans are biased for Pryor to win Heisman, but he is not in the top 2 so far. Just sayin......

I will be bias and say that P. Peterson from LSU should win Heisman and has improved a bunch.........:)

Biased to win it? Umm not at all. If he keeps this stat pace and W's keep coming it will take care of itself. I honestly don't care if he gets an invite, wins it or whatever. I just want wins for OSU.

Miami is a cupcake? Also, while OSU fans are biased about Pryor winning the Heisman, he is being mentioned by many (other than OSU fans) as a Heisman favorite, while Peterson is not. So your comparison is shit.

Maybe they are, maybe they aren't; but your team has played nothing but cupcakes as well (and sturggled against depleted cupcake UNC), just like every top team has played cupcakes at this point. The difference is OSU has looked good playing against their cupcakes.

I would take playing UNC and 2 SEC teams over Miami and 2 no names. I mean, Bowling Green even killed Marshall. LSU has gave up a total of 10 points combined the last 2 games. Next week, LSU play WVU while OSU plays another nobody.

A UNC team with 13 players out, many of whom were starters? Laughable. I'll give you that Ohio is terrible and that Marshall is not that good either, but don't come on here and say Miss. St, Vandy and UNC (with 13 players out) are as good as Miami. Plus, OSU was never in trouble in any of their games, LSU snuck by a depleted UNC team.

Vandy is shit, Miss. St is shit and UNC with all the players out is shit.

Isn't the thread about Pryor and not how well OSU played? In my opinion Pryor didn't play that well against Miami.

I agree 346 yards of offense with 2 touchdowns and 0 int is not playing well. Yes he missed some passes, but he did not turn the ball over.

Miami Offense 352 Yards 1 Touchdown 4 turnovers
Pryor 346 Yards 2 touchdowns 0 turnovers

lol....I doubt he even watched....don't even bother. I agree...he did have a few poor passes. He was the leading rusher in the game....how terrible.

As for the picks yesterday....it happens. They were his first turnovers of the year and no fumbles so far. Thankfully it was against OU and they were already rolling.

Lets keep the thread on topic for once eh?

I'm excited for the Wisky game on Oct 16th. Pryor has shown he can perform big on the road and this will be a big one!

Pretty sure Beanie was the leader of that huddle though.

thedynasty1998;488686 wrote:How impressed have you been with Pryor this year? And do you think he has a future in the NFL?

I was discussing this after the game today with some friends. I've been at the last two games, and I think you can judge QB's a lot better in person compared to on TV because you can see the whole field and get a better sense of the velocity of throws.

I've been really impressed with Pryor this year and the improvements he has made each year. However, people were talking on here about him potentially leaving early and I just don't see it. I don't see how he plays QB in the NFL.

Also, I think that he is still the front runner for the Heisman. I really think OSU runs the table and if they do, that puts Pryor on the very short list.

What are your thoughts on Pryor?
He is a MUCH better QB than he was at this point last year. It is logical for that to be the case.

There isn't a single College QB in the country ready for the NFL now, especially not the third year JUNIORS. You can count on one hand, the Senior QB's that got drafted, played right away and were successful. The vast majority of NFL QB's that end up being starters take several years before they are successful.

Therefore it is extremely silly to make assumptions on what kind of a QB Pryor will be 5 years from now. There isn't even a NFL scout in the country who would be foolish enough to GUESS at what Pryor will be like 5 years from now.

Pryor has already been talking to the other Juniors on the team demanding a promise from them to come back for their Senior year because he is.

BTW, I could give a shat who is being considered for the Heisman. The only thing that matters is who wins the Heisman. They don't give a trophy for 2nd place. I don't think any underclassman should receive the Heisman.

You can't discredit him for making the plays. I was just saying that Beanie was the leader of the team and the one who got Pryor going. This time it is all on Pryor's shoulders

If the game had been close you would never had seen those passes from Pryor. Ohio State had a big lead, he knew he wasn't going to have many more chances, so he was trying for big plays. He would be the first person to tell you they were dumb mistakes.
