Well, they are 2 for 3.

Grand Slam - Godfather Part 2 (though they did not actually ACT together)
Home Run - Heat
Strikeout - Righteous Kill

Marty should be able to get the best out of them though.

I disagree Laley. I thought Righteous Kill was the best of those 3.

Excited for this movie.

Righteous Kill was good, but definitely not the best of those. Better than Godfather 2? That is like the standard of mob movies.

Pesci was not in Godfather 2. The guy you are thiking of is probably the late Bruno Kirby, who played young Clamenza.

Needless to say though I would be interested.

I was merely talking about DeNiro and Pacino. Actually the 3 of them have never all starred (or been in?) a film together at all.

Never seen Godfather 2, but there is no way Righteous Kill was better than Heat.

Ha no offense...but to mention Righteous Kill even in the same paragraph let alone same sentence as The Godfather II is insane. The Godfather II is probably a top 5 movie of all time, actually ranked 3rd according to IMDB. Righteous Kill was hard to watch.

Go see Godfather II. Im a pretty big movie buff and very critical of everything involved in a movie. This film is nearly perfect (considering the time, so you gotta overlook some effects). The way they go back and forth from present with Michael running the family to Vito growing up and rising to power to start the family is flawless imo.
