I'm saying ND has played better competition than MSU through two games, if you think they haven't then there's no hope for you. ND is tested against good teams, I mean they are from the "massive" Big 10.:rolleyes:

Lots of football left to be played but I wouldn't be in shock if Michigan finished in the top 4 of the Big 10. I mean, it's fathomable.

Dantonio is actually a solid coach and Michigan State does better than people give them credit for.
2006: 4-8

2009: 6-7...five of those loses were by a possession.
They have the 20th-ranked class, according to Scout. Things have been looking up for the Spartans lately.
That said, I hope the Irish bash those dirty dickheads into the ground tomorrow.

Well, it's certainly a losable game as it is a typically tough opponent for ND and it's a night game on the road so the College Gameday crew (all of them) picked ND to lose. No biggie there, but then they all said that ND probably won't win again until they get Pitt in South Bend. Wow. I mean, that could happen but I'd be extremely shocked and disappointed. I know I'm an ND fan and all but I don't think they look THAT bad. Geez. I'm not ready to chalk up the game at BC as a loss already. Tonight probably won't be easy, Stanford looks really good so far and BC doesn't look bad but I think ND wins at least one of those 3 games coming up on the schedule. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

While that was an exciting game, I think I'm ready for a Notre Dame game to not go down to the wire. Its been a loooong time since they were able to put a team away. Still take that kind of win over a loss.

I don't think it is impossible, but I think Ohio State, Iowa, Wisconsin and Penn State will all finish ahead of Michigan. To me, Michigan is still a year or two away from top 4 in the Big 10. And with the addition of Nebraska next season, maybe further. The defense is too suspect IMO.

I think ND will win, but I am rooting for Bell the running back from Michigan State, he is a true freshman and has played damn good through the first 2 games, and so far this game he has the longest rush.
