Well, I think we all know if he hit a couple home runs tonight, they'd both be solo shots at the end of a 10-1 game, amirite?!?

The last road trip when the Reds did so well and gained so much ground, when we really thought they'd lose ground, the Reds came home and were disappointed in the fan turnout. This road trip went poorly, but they still came home in better shape than when they came home from the last road trip, and in excellent shape overall. Seems like now would be the time for fans to really show their support and go out to try to lift this team, that has to be down now, to make the final 22 game push to the playoffs, and hopefully win home field advantage through the playoffs. They are just 1.5 games behind Philadelphia and the best record in the NL!

Least we wouldn't have to face them in the first round, most likely, if that were to happen.

Just for giggles here is a little FACT

(I know I have a problem)

Adam Dunn has 286 of his 350 career HR when the game is within 3 runs....which is 82%
Albert Pujols has 323 of his 403 career HR when the game is within 3 runs...which is 80%

What does this mean?

The Cardinals are all bitches.

From Jim Day's twitter page:

Harang is moved to the bullpen, The Reds may hold Cabrera out through the weekend, Bruce could be back Sunday at earliest but more like Monday according to Dusty

We could use whatever OF we have available.

Harang in the BP........Basically like having Micah Owings without the power threat at the plate.....and about $13 million more per year.

It means most people give/gave Dunn shit for absolutely no reason.

Umpire blew it, calling the first pitch to Homer a strike.

Snyder gets lucky and hits a good curveball right on the low outside corner over the LF wall on a swing that didn't look good! 1-0 Pirates.
