I'm not sure why so many people just refuse to admit that Boise is legit.
Boise State has been the real thing for a while now. They consistently beat big time teams (Oklahoma, Oregon, TCU) and they look damn good while they do it. I would think that the Pac-10 will be knocking on their door before long. Boise is a growing market of nearly 600,000 people on the metro. Thats not exactly a tiny market, although not nearly as large as Salt Lake City, which is why Utah got the nod.

Thats because they are stuck in the WAC. They will do a little better once they head for the MWC, although not great now that Utah and BYU are bailing. Fuck BYU.

The penalties on kickoff have been insane so far.

Boise State field goal is good, 20-7 now.

While I will openly admit that Va. Tech is, as always, way overrated, as young as they are they could be really good, even national championship good, in a couple of years.

Anyone else notice that the votes for Boise St. by 7 have nearly doubled since the game started?

The Hokies starting to move the ball now. Boise has yet to go the length of the field without help from Virginia Tech, so if they can keep their heads in the game, they can get back in it.

Well they at least looked good until that last series of downs.

Field goal missed very wide right, still 20-7 Boise State.

No. Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio state, Penn state.. They wouldn't win 3 of 4. It'd take a toll on them

Big Ten looks pretty strong this year IMO

Just one week to go by but I think it's up from the past few years.

No one knows, we have never seen them run through a real schedule.

Taylor has a chance to put himself on the Heisman list in this game

Not saying he will but the opportunity is there if he leads them back because so much is on his shoulders.

Osu plays all of them this year... So not a valid point. And sorry, the physical game week in and week out would wear them down.

But it's your opinion vs mine...

Nebraska plays all 4 next year, so it's extremely possible

I would be suprised if Boise State didn't win three out of the four.

Virginia Tech recovers Boise's fumble, then scores a touchdown. 20-14 Boise State, but Virginia Tech is starting to look good.

Virginia Tech is being forced into more of a passing game because they got behind but they're still able to move the ball now.

Teams like Wisconsin, Michigan State, Penn State, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio State all have enough weapons to at least be in a back-and-forth game with Boise. Some would beat them.
