If Christ was their QB they probably would have won today. I doubt the son of God would throw it out of bounds on the last play of the game.

As much as people complain about Kelly not going for a FG, just remember that the refs handed ND a TD but not seeing the guy release the ball before crossing the goall which would have given UM the ball on the 20. The game shouldn't have even been a one possession game if the refs don't miss that call.

Purdue is better than most people give them credit for.

ND by 10.

Wrong on many levels.

His prediction may have been wrong based on the circumstances. But I still contend that with Crist in the whole game, ND would have won by 10+.

LMAO. Refs in the WVU-Marshall game missed the same call last night. That's not "handing a TD to a team." Technically it was a missed call but Michigan had already blown the coverage and TJ Jones scores with ease regardless. It would've been a hard lesson learned but it had no effect on the outcome of the game. The damage was done on that play long before that.

^^^^^

If the call isn't missed, ND doesn't get that TD. By missing the call, they essentially gave ND a TD. You earn a TD by crossing the goal line with the ball....he didn't do that.

There wasn't a white jersey anywhere around on that play. But there were plenty of Blue jerseys.

If they don't signal touchdown on that play...someone else would have jumped on the ball and it still would have been 6. Don't act like that play was a huge deal. Like ewok said...the damage was done.

Okay, man. Whatever you say. The same call was missed last night in the WVU-Marshall game. Did anybody really care? I guess we can argue IF Dayne Crist doesn't get hurt too, right? It is what it is. Michigan already got beat on that play straight up. Therefore, it wasn't a big missed call. If you think it was......you're just reaching.

Yeah? I saw a holding call each time Michigan scored. Refs didn't call it. They gave Michigan all of their points. Good job by Big Ten officiating crew.

I shit you not +/- 2 words or so I sent a mass text out with that exact statement lol. The consensus agreed.

Crist could've thrown another pick, or overthrown 3 more receivers, too. ND by 10+, LOL!! 28-24!!! Go Blue!!!

It would've been a big win, but Kelly's got some time to accumulate those. RROD needed that win today. I'm kinda crushed but I *think* better days are ahead under BK. Only time will tell.

That was definitely sarcasm. In fact, ND held all day long with no calls.

Ok, I'm going to drink some beer and read your reactions to this.

I would be crushed too. I feel the same as you. Rich Rod NEEDED that win. There will be better days for ND with BK there, 100% agree.

You clearly don't know what the difference between a hold and quality blocking is do you?

Sad to see Michigan played as poorly as they did but a win is a win.

I hope RichRod uses these next few games to develop more weapons on offense, we'll need them in Big Ten play.
