She will only be a factor for whoever she endorses, she won't run for president because why would she want to, by the time 2012 gets here this country is going to be a hallow shell of what it use to be thanks to Obama, why would anyone want to follow Obama in 2012(and yes he will be a one term president).

Palin was a negative factor in 2008, she'll be the same in 2012.

The Right think she is the best thing since sliced bread,
Not all. I lean right, but I'm not a Palin supporter. I just don't understand why she seems to bring out the worst in many liberal commentators.
Palin was a negative factor in 2008,
How so?? Which VP candidate would have helped McCain win the election?

Ok. I just watched the Sarah Palin/MSNBC at the mall clip. I don't think that the reporter "attacked" either of the two people interviewed in the clip. But she did find a gap in the girls response to her questions and sort of zero'd in on it. But, overall, I think she was kind of fair, considering that she works for MSNBC (who I think hates everybody that isn't Obama LOL)
The girl interviewed probabaly felt dumb afterwards, or wishes that she could've responded differently. To me, a person who likes Palin, it's no big deal.

Oh, here's the clip:

Good find>>

I still think the reporter's only intent was to embarrass a Palin supporter. Nothing more, nothing less.

Normal people being interviewed are at a disadvantage. One, they aren't used to being on camera and two, they can't control anything. Now, this young lady feels like an idiot and will be subject to ridicule so that some reporter can feel like she had a "gotcha moment" with a Palin supporter.

I think that is sad.

I hope that wench shows up to interview me in line tomorrow at Rookwood. Twenty bucks says she'll be curled up in a corner in a puddle of her own urine within 2 minutes.

Not a factor at all.

She had her 15 minutes in politics.

she'll be a factor...

I like Palin, but I would have liked to see her run her state, rather than go on a book tour if she actually plans a political career. Got enough talking heads on both sides of the aisle. The next president hopefully will be someone with some actual EXECUTIVE experience.

^ Hey now you mean being a community organizer, being able to read a teleprompter, and promising change wasn't good enough for you?

I just don't get how she'll be able to overcome the "you quit on your governorship to go on a book tour, why should the American people trust you to not quit on the Presidency" attack that she's bound to get from both the dems AND her rivals in a republican primary. It might not be a good argument but I'd bet it will be an effective one.

Yea, whether it is fair or not, she'll be attacked mercilessly for the whole quitting on Alaska, and then going on a promotional blitz, showing up everywhere, "writing" a book, etc.

Political suicide, IMO.

Kinda mitigates the whole "i have experience" thing.

I agree. Maybe, she is looking at becoming a 3rd party candidate. Who knows.

She could be a strong conservative party candidate.

But, Ron Paul is the only one i see at the moment of having a legitimate shot at a third-party contender.

But, we're a LONG way off.

I don't like Mitt Romney.

I just want my D-party to put someone up that I can feel comfortable voting for.

Palin is a typical, lying, spinning, scumbag politician. She's also an idiot, but no more than any other politician in Washington. She's made out to be some dunce by the left wing media attack dogs. All of these politicians make me sick.

There are rumblings now that Rudy may decide to run again in 12. I think that's a mighty fine idea, and I'd vote for him in a heartbeat.

That is exactly what I mean. Her experience was an issue in the past election while Barack got a free pass.
Experience MAY be a huge factor in determining the next election. I don't think she helps her chances to be run for president....if that is truley her goal.

Why not John Boehner for the R's? He came in with the Contract with America crowd and seems like one of those "true conservatives" (except of course when he voted for massive expansions in federal power with the No Child Left Behind Act and Medicare Part D). Seems like a strong personality...no executive experience but hey, BHO didn't have any either.

Plus, his fabulous tan will make Americans look good to other countries. I mean, we all know tan's not just a skin tone, it's a lifestyle.
