Had 'em, hated 'em & am done w/'em - YEAH! I won't go into gory details but those 6 days each month were no picnic for either of us for over 30 years. He learned to give me more sympathy than I ever deserved & let me WIN any argument that arose during "THOSE" days, no matter how ridiculous it was to him, AND I reciprocated anytime he had a cold & had to "take to his bed" for the duration.

If you are a guy and your girl gets her period, have you never thought, at least once, that you have dodged a bullet?

I wasn't contradicting you I was adding to your statement. When pain is "extreme" moods aren't even detectable because they tend to be overridden by immediate action to either masking the pain or addressing the reason pain is being caused.

Extreme pain tends to turn your focus away from all other things around you and towards the issue at hand. Moods become the least of the worry.

We survive those times with nightly leg rubs followed up with a full body massage prior to bedtime. It seems to relax her when she can keep her hands busy.

But yeah when Aunt Flow visits, it blows.
And so should she!

How many of you guys have an excuse for being assholes all month long???

All of us do, we have to deal with women! ;)
