What's your prediction on how things shape up after last night RR1?

i have no idea....probably similar to riders1

1 cf
2 EC
3 genoa
4 orrville

Triway's loss will further widen the gap between 4 and 5.

OG should be 9th at least....they keep winning and they'll be there...and a real tough week 11 matchup for anyone.

Gonna come down to Orrville/Clear fork. Root for CF to beat Ashland and bring a ton of points to Orrville.

Win or lose Clear Fork brings 4.5 1st level and either 32.5 or 38 2nd level points, so it's already a ton , it's only 5.5 points diff in the 2nd level either win or lose. but those 38 plus points would be nice to get so we don't have to get them in week 10. It will be good to play on Sat in Wooster knowing how everyone did the night before and how we sit before game time. SO JUST root for a really beat down game between the colts and arrows ( now no long term injuries but enough to slow the colts for week 9 :)

Would knowing where we sit change how we play the Wooster game?

I would hope not.

Beating Wooster is still beating Wooster...9-0 or 0-9.

Interesting matchups if playoffs started today.

4/5 - Clearview @ Orrville
3/6 - Triway @ Genoa
2/7 - Ottawa-Glandorf @ Ely. Catholic
1/8 - Galion @ Clear Fork

Wow.

Looking at last year, both Scott and Woodward were DII Region 6. I thought everyone stayed the same for 2 years before revising?

This article mentions the drop to D4 by those 2 schools. Apparently they've seen a big enough drop in enrollment to maybe justify some sort of special reclassification from the OHSAA.

Just looking at points, there is a gap of 32.5 from 4th to 5th, and from 5th to 16th only 24.5 points separate 12 teams. It will be any interesting 3 weeks with those 12 fighting for the last 4 spots with the top 4 needing to go 2-1 to hold their positions and who knows what upsets are still out there.

That explains Waite and Woodward moving up, but when did the 4 teams get moved down?

If Clearview makes it in, whoever draws them will be very fortunate. Otherwise there looks to be some very interesting possible playoff matchups. I wish they were on different days so I could go to them all...

Look at that...CF projected to win the region (losing to Ashland, beating Orrville and beating West Holmes)

So does that mean Orrville could win the region with a win over CF, Wooster and Madison?

Unless Clearview really slips up, they should win out and grab the 7th or 8th spot. Their schedule is real favorable.

Going to take someone to upset a 6-1 or 7-0 team to make a leap into the top 8.

That is exactly the way it is shaping up. Beat CF and Woo along with this week and win the region. Lose to CF or WOO and probably finish 4th and host OG.

OG is favored in their last 3...but all by less than a TD. no guarantee they win out.....pretty much the case for everyone...but Genoa of course.

^yes but those spreads take into account the losses as just losses.....not losses w/o many of your players who were suspended. I think OG is fine down the stretch and settles into that 5 spot like last year.

Finishing 1 or 2 is going to be a big deal. If that happens, we get a home game, then probably to Ashland or Tiffin again to face OG or Genoa.

Would be neat to meet up with Triway or CF again. Keep it local.

IMO..OG is still the team to beat in Region 14. Everyone knows the 2 defeats they have suffered, were during some very trying times (suspensions etc). With all the bs behind them, the kids are focused again, and I truely think they will be a very tough out the rest of the way, until late in the playoffs.
