Just a joke thread so don't get all upset.
Iowa 7 B10 1st teamers.
OSU 1 B10 1st teamer.
Who has the top talent?

The selections are a joke. Heyward and Gibson are second teamers? That is a joke in itself.

And they had the nerve to give Ferentz the COTY award with all that talent and he didn't even win the B10. I mean come on, Tressel won the B10 with one 1st teamer and a bunch of average joes.

If it wasn't for Ohio State the Big 10 really would be on the same level as the Big East. Ohio State has dominated the Big 10 this decade and will continue to do so.
I don't think OSU should have had many first teamers on offense, but the defense is hands down the best in the Big 10.

Ohio State has the last laugh anyhow. They win their 5th straight Big 10 title and look to add more to that streak along with continuing their streak against Michigan.

I'm a little disappointed in these selections. Can't believe the Buckeyes only warranted one first team All Big 10 selection. Kind of a joke.

Woody had it right when he said he would rather be coach of team of the year than coach of the year.
Coach Ferentz can sit his COY Award next to his B10 Championship...Oh! wait a minute...... he didn't win it, sorry about that. This whole selection thing is a joke.

IMO, Heyward, Coleman, and Homan should've all been 1st teamers.

How is that?
Cincinnati is 10-0 but their not some juggernaut team that would roll OSU, PSU, or Iowa imo. In fact I'd take OSU and at least Iowa at the moment to beat Cincinnati. The Big Ten has 7 bowl eligible teams while the Big East has 5. I would be anything that the B10 gets two BCS teams while the Big East only gets their automatic bid.

Forget Gibson and Homan and whoever else. The fact that Heyward is not 1st team destroys the credibility of the whole thing. Heyward may be the best player in the whole conference, offense or defense. Yeah, I'm a big Bucks fan, but there is no bias in that. Heyward is an animal.

When was the last time the Big East sent two teams to the BCS? When was the last time the Big East sent a team to the national title game? The last Big East team to do that is now apart of the ACC. The Big East has nothing on the Big Ten. Sorry, I know you're a Cincy fan, but your team won't even win the Big East and may lose to Illinois.

No, I'm an OSU team, but respect Cincinnati and think they are a good team.
The BCS is all about money. The Big 10 schools have larger fan bases, which is why often times the Big 10 gets two teams in. They just travel better.
The Big 10 is not good. It's that simple.
Big 10 OSU lost to a mediocre Pac 10 team, and struggled with Navy. Iowa did beat Arizona, but struggled with Northern Iowa and Arkansas State Penn State didn't play anyone worthe mentioning in OOC Northwestern lost to Syracuse Wisconsin needed OT to beat Fresno State
Those are the top 5 teams in the Big 10. None have an impressive OOC victory.
Big East Cincinnati beat Oregon State (better than USC and Arizona) and Fresno State Pitt beat Notre Dame and Navy, lost to NC State WVU lost to Auburn, beat East Carolina South Florida beat Florida State Rutgers all loses in conference
Just looking at wins and loses, it's hard to say that the Big 10 has a more impressive resume (actually it's impossible).
Plus, you mention number of eligible bowl teams, well Big 10 has 11 schools and the Big East has 8; so of course the Big 10 would have more bowl eligible teams.

"Big East

Pitt beat Notre Dame and Navy, lost to NC State
WVU lost to Auburn, beat East Carolina
South Florida beat Florida State
Rutgers all loses in conference"
Oregon State lost to Arizona 37 -32 and USC 42 -36(How are they better)
Umm are you bragging about someone beating Notre Dame and Navy and who lost to NC State?
Are you bragging about a team who lost to auburn and whos best win is East Carolina( a 7-4 team win no wins over any good teams)
South Floridas win over a 6-5 Florida State team who will finish with a .500 record is supposed to be impressive
Rutgers OOC scheaduel is worse then Iowas or Penn States
