What kind of fun?
Belpre is a dry town (to my knowledge) so there is no boozing to speak of there. There are some cool bars in Marietta, but from belpre, athens (if you don't mind the drive) and parkersburg are the 2 better bets.
There is a golf course down there called Oxbow that at 1 time was awesome. It used to be pretty pricey, but it may not be now. I kind of heard they let the course go to hell, but you'd have to go and find out for yourself.
I was there last week and all I did was golf in Beverly, drink in P-burg and help my parents and inlaws out on their respective farms.
something neat to do is to go to kokomo's in P-burg. it's a restaurant on the OH river, really neat. They have a free limo service so you can go down and get plastered and come back in a limo (like i did). it's not the best food, but the ribs were damn good. (DO NOT GET THE GROUPER)
