I was typing up the thread about Leverage and it reminded me of this show because an actress named Kate Isitt is in both of these shows. Coupling was a hilarious show which ran four seasons, but since British television only has about 6-8 episodes per season, there were only about 30 episodes total.

The show was set up a bit like friends, 3 guys, 3 women, but all the jokes were about sex. Literally every single joke, and it made for an hilarious show. I've only ran into one other person who watched it, and they thought it was the funniest show of all time.

Sonofanump is correct, this was supposedly the next "Friends" (came out in '03 I believe), and starred Rena Sofer. I remember watching the pilot and was appalled as to how horrible the American version was. It was actually worse than "Joey." I haven't seen the UK version so I don't how it was - but the U.S. version was a disaster.

The US version was horrible because everyone thought it was a knock off of Friends and the censors here in the US are so uptight that you could shove a lump of coal up their ass and in a couple of weeks you'd have a diamond, so it was much more tame.

I've seen every season. Decent show....I dig British humor.
