Whether you had parental consent or sneaked in.

For me, Aliens (parental consent) and Die Hard (sneaked in, and by sneaking in I mean the guy at the counter knew we were underaged but told us the movie was so awesome he didn't care).

That is awesome, there is no way that movie can be made today. "We got bush."

My grandparents took me to see White Men Can't Jump when I was 9. They thought it was just a basketball movie.

My friend's mom took us to see Lake Placid in theaters. Looking at the release date, I would have been 10.

Giant man-eating crocs. Epic.

A little off subject, but when I was a kid, I convinced my mom to take me to watch a Sharon Stone movie...cannot remember the name, but it had one of the Baldwins in it as well. Anyhow, there is nothing more uncomfortable than being in an empty theater watching a glorified soft porno with your mother.....

Um, I don't know. Probably some action movie with my parents. They never gave a shit about the rating of the movie. If it looked good we'd see it.

It might not be the first ever but I do remember seeing Scream when I was in 6th grade and my brother took me to the 50 cent movie. I saw Wild Things in the regular theater...but I can't remember when that came out and I don't feel like looking it up.

My older sister got us in to Varsity Blues when I was younger. That's the first R flick I remember seeing in the theaters

I can't remember but I do remember seeing 10 to Midnight in the early 80's (born in 76) lots of naked chicks in that, and of course murder :)

As a little kid, my cousins and I (I was staying at their house) snuck downstairs to watch "The Exorcist" in the middle of the night. I had nightmares and was scared of the dark for weeks! haha

The Crow, I think. I was 11 or so and my sisters rented the video after it came out.
