Good Lord was that awesome!

We went to a resort about 45 minutes south of Cancun and it was awesome. It's pretty tough to come back to Cincy after sitting at the pool drinking Icebergs (pint glass filled about 3/4 of the way with Corona, and then topped off with a margarita) for five straight days.

If anyone is looking for a good get away...I HIGHLY recommend going to an all-inclusive resort in the Mexican Caribbean. The beaches were amazing, the food was great, and the weather was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better week.

The wife and I are going to Riviera Maya in December. I can't remember the resort but it is right across the water from Cozumel (I think that is the island). We've got a swim up suite and the water goes directly to the pool bar. I'm likely going to drown.

Did same exact thing for my honeymoon and was awesome as well. Can't beat the value and fun that is Mexico.

i thought the point of a honeymoon was to get a room with a huge bed and not leave until it's time to come home? Why do people go on honeymoons to just lay around the pool and drink?

No...the point of the honeymoon is to get away and relax after taking all that time and energy planning the wedding. It's meant for the newly married couple to unwind and enjoy some time for themselves before they have to get back to the real world.

Sure there's a lot of banging going on. But it's also pretty nice to grab a cold drink, and lay out on a beach or by a really nice pool and to enjoy a nice relaxing week together.

I don't care about any of you crazy people's honeymoon's.

Side note, I noticed you on the comic list for Brew ha ha. My first time going, so should i actually expect all good comics or is it hit or miss?

I didn't get a chance to really look at the list...so I'm not sure who is on there. But with the manager of Go Bananas running it this year, there will definitely be a lot of good local comics. Just drink a lot of the beer...then everyone at least seems funny.
