You know what 'great competitors' all have in common usually if that has to be included in their description.

Give up?

They blow.

Yeah. Elam is horrible. Adams is worse. And Ward and Asante will make their share of mistakes being rookies.

In all fairness, that was a great play by Green Bay to break that pass up.

Little behind the guy, but a completion on his first pass for about 4 or 5 yards.

At the rate that Shields is going, he doesn't stand a chance in hell at getting a return spot in this lifetime.

At least there won't be any, bench the veteran start the rookie talk after this game. Although I'm sure Colt will look like a different QB by the last preseason game.

59 yarder. Not bad for an old guy.

Dawson going for a 46 yarder for the win..and...it's good. Cleveland wins 27-24.

Hope this isn't an indication that we are going to have a bunch of games come down to the wire again!

Colt McCoy looked solid.

McCoy looked like a rookie making his 1st ever apperance, good thing is that Cleveland won't rely on him to play this season like other young QB's.

Ward looked solid along with Delhomme/Wallace.

With the Tribe in the toilet, and the Cavs likely joining them soon, heaven help the hysteria that will overtake this city if the Browns can ever pull it together.

I was joking about the Super Bowl bit, but listening to Browns react on KNR I can tell expectations are increasing rapidly among the fan base right now with lots of talk of being the big surprise team this year that does the quick turn around as so often happens in the NFL.

The Browns looked VERY good, especially the first team.

TJ Ward is the real deal. I've said it since we drafted him. He is always around the ball making the tackle/play. He also lets the offensive player know he's there when he hits him. Joe Haden looked shaky at first, but he definitely settled in nicely. He played well in coverage and had a deflection or two.

The offense looked impressive. The way they were moving the ball reminded me of 2007. Delhomme, despite what people say, has weapons. Cribbs is a playmaker and MoMass and Robiskie will be solid receivers. Jerome Harrison is looks like he's going to start off where he finished as well.

All in all, I was pretty happy with the performance. Jake was able to efficiently pick up all the blitzes, something neither QB we had last season was able to do. Seneca showed a good playmaking ability and a strong accurate arm as well..

Actually he threw 3, and I would call that a bunch.
McCoy threw three interceptions during the first half of the scrimmage. One was returned by cornerback Brandon McDonald for a touchdown, who flipped into the end zone and threw the ball into the stands.

The last McCoy interception came on a desperation heave at the end of the half. At first, it looked like McCoy had connected on a touchdown pass to a wide-open receiver. But then the folks in attendance realized that McCoy's team, consisting of the second-team offense and first-team defense, is wearing white jerseys, and that the Browns player who caught the ball is in brown.
