The UC Pitt game would have a huge positive impact for UC's National Championship chances if Texas were to falter. It would certainly be a better win than any that the Horned Frogs have now. The computers are already in the Bearcats corner with UC ranking higher than TCU in all but one poll. The margins in the human polls aren't much. Two strong performances against Illinois and Pitt on national television would easily push UC over TCU.

Did you ask a question? Seriously, I couldn't find it in your first post on this thread after reading through a few times.
I asked if Clemson beats GT for the ACC title, if that will help TCU hold of Cincy especially in the human poll (and if Texas loses, if it will be enough to get them into the NC game).

I am kind of rooting for some chaos. I like seeing the BCS/NCAA sweat.

UC should definitely make it in over TCU (If Texas loses, which I doubt happens)
But if UC loses (and Texas still loses) it'll be interesting. It'll be hard for the BCS to stomach putting TCU in the Title game (or Boise even, haha)
