Rather watch paint dry.

But I need Ray Rice and the Squeeler's defense to have a good game.

Defense has to play great and keep it low scoring. Maybe they can win 13-10.

Ben is the emergency 3rd string QB for tonight's game.

Palko isn't really in a position to go in.

So this could get interesting.

I'd say put Ward in the shotgun if Dixon goes down and just run.

Apparently defense didn't get the memo. They're playing like crap. Nothing like the defense to let you down when you need them.

Yeah, this could be a long night.

It's definitely an excuse but losing your best player on offense (Ben) and your 2nd string QB and without your best defensive player too......it's a tall order. Still, it's the NFL and every team has injuries and NOBODY feels bad for you. Wins are all that matter as a loss without your two best players is still just a loss.

Take away the holding penalty and this game could be pretty interesting at this point.

I was worried they might get shutout.

Looks like they can score maybe 17 points.

Defense can't allow more than 6-7 more.

Momentum seems to have shifted from the beginning of this game. After the first possession by each team, I was worried it'd end up some 38-7 kind of game. Right now, I'm thinking it'll be a dogfight and that Pittsburgh has a chance to take a decided advantage if they can strike here.

Dixon doesn't look scared. Most guys in their first start against the Ravens defense would be nervous. He looks pretty cool. Penalties have killed the Steelers offense or they'd have at least 13 points right now... maybe more.

Mendenhall is running well too.

Too bad the defense isn't stepping up to the challenge.

One fucking time I would love to see a hold called when Harrison is getting raped at the line of scrimmage. If the officials want to watch the game, they should buy a fucking ticket.

Yeah, the Steelers lineman seem like they get tagged for every little thing but the left T/TE on Harrison never gets called.

First half:

Good: Dixon looks very able. The offense is moving the ball well and being stopped more by themselves (penalties) than the Raven "D". No returns for scores against us (and yes, it is sad when you have to actually mention this as a positive).

Bad: Those penalties. A number of good plays have been negated. Defense continues to transform from lock-down to soft from play to play with no warning.
