Phillips in his career has been best in the 2 hole, I think he was hoping to jump start him as he had been struggling. Who knows.

scouting anyone? edmonds can barely run with a messed up achilles and you don't make him stretch to the outside of the plate last night. now you throw a hard swinging pitcher a fastball up.

Who is teaching these guys to bunt to the first baseman when you are trying to sacrifice the runner to 3rd! Reds luck out when they try too hard for the DP!
