Years ago I'd probably give you that one but lately it seems they aren't the tough steel town hard scrabble kids they used to have up there. Hilliard Davidson's "suburban" kids didn't have much trouble with the Glenville last year.

But I'm affraid the atmosphere will really be lacking. Crew stadium would be a good choice for the games, but aren't there other high school facilities in the Columbus area that could hold the games? Doesn't Coffman have a nice stadium?

I'd bet that 70% would say that they don't really care where it is played.superman;431347 wrote:It should be all about the kids. Take a survey of HS players around the state. More slams on Stark County huh? I sure would like to meet you.

I also have coached a HS games at Ohio State, and The Shoe is just way to Big for high school football. The stadium was not loud at all, and it was not made for High School Football.....Canton and Massillon are perfect fits for the State Championship games...I really look down on OHSAA for this move I really feel sadden that players will not get to experience Massillon and Canton.
