While I feel a good percentage of the "troll/hater" comments you get have more to do with you appearing on Cleveland threads without a pro-team mentality (let's face it...this is a site where a dude like Footwedge, who seems to be a passionate Cleveland fan who has often taken negative stances towards front office moves, has regularly been blasted for taking those non-positive stances), man, this post is hard to look at as anything other than a "I'll go to hell before I let these people feel ANY positive emotion about this team!" troll.
I mean, really? He can't be sincere because he wrote this deal while in L.A., instead of Cleveland? And because he's being overpaid? He is engaged to a recording artist who seems to be working on her album. From generic Wiki-research, she's affiliated with Geffen, which is centralized in Santa Monica, Cali. It's his offseason/vacation, so why wouldn't he be in L.A. with her (assuming she is recording there) working on his game? And considering she's a somewhat successful artist, she's likely rich, so if he has any competitive nature, he's likely a bit pride-hurt from the really sporadic, inconsistent playing time he's gotten over the past couple of years. Like to where you'd be wanting to get the fuck out so you can show your skills for a team whose coaching staff respects you more.
If you said (and could back up) that the new coach was high on Gibson and he was going to be taking a much larger role next year, I wouldn't argue your point...but what you presented was simply weak stuff that takes next-to-no effort to shoot full of holes.
