The kid is clueless at bunting, I've been saying that all year. I blame Dusty for putting him in that situation when he never bunts. He should be putting one down every 4-5 games.

Phillips fails also on the runner on 3rd and one out. It was a tougher situation than Stubbs with a slower runner on 3rd, and the infield playing in closer, and he didn't make two outs to end the inning. And Cabrera was unable to pick Phillips up with a 2 out RBI.

That 4-3 double play on Werth was a "dumb and dumber" play. Votto was dumb by catching the throw from Phillips with his foot on the base. It calls for first tagging the runner(Werth) and then kicking the bag before the batter arrives. But Werth was dumber by not keeping his foot on the base!
