I agree that there will not be peace until one side wipes out the other which will require a massive bloodletting. Unfortunately this world is governed by the aggressive use of force. This piece of property has changed hands many times through out history.

There are quite a few Mexicans who feel the same way about the American Southwest. In fact they are repopulating that perceived stolen land as we speak. Just like the Jews did in the early part of the 20th century.

I don't support all our all of our foreign policy. It is a tough game to play in a hostile world. But if any foreign entity thinks they can come on our soil and kill our citizens and drop our buildings to influence it, I will become their worst enemy and the most ardent supporter of that policy they sought to influence.
The same could be said of Japan's attack on Pear Harbor. Our foreign policy decision to take the side of China in the Sino Japanese war put the US at odds with Japan. This foreign policy decision led the US to lead an international movement to isolate Japan economically and force them to withdraw from China.
We attempted to use economic force to cut off credit to the Japanese which would prevent them from being able to purchase petroleum. Oil being an absolutely vital economic and military commodity, as it is today, led the empire of Japan to launch a preemptive strike on our abilities to enforce such a policy.
We can argue change in foreign policy internally. But if you want to argue that change should happen because of fear of foreign violence against this country you are foolish.
