4 newspapers say Struthers 34-21. That's what I was going by.

So is it safe to assume that Marlington is going to hop Big Red for the #1 spot, now?

Looks like the AP reported it incorrectly, so therefore every newspaper in the state outside of the local ones around here has it backward.

It was a great game by both teams!
Very exciting to watch. Each team blew some chances but Edison did show alot of heart with that come back.

WTOV9 projections are out, but they have Salem as losing to Struthers.
Sent emails to Joe Eitel, Drew Pasteur, Wtov9 and Calpreps.

So as of now, Salem at Minerva. That would be a very intriguing match up.

We could lose again this week go 8-2 and we will still be #1 at end of season . All our cupcake nonohio teams are winning.

If we get healthy by playoff time we are going to make a run for the championship. I just mean within a reasonable manner like other teams . We are just way banged up .

Finishing ahead of even Marlington?
They are so close already, and they don't have a single loss on their schedule.

WTOV9 may have missed some points for Marlington. I guess the Canadian team won. Don't know if it will be enough but it will be tighter.
If Big Red loses this week they may be the 2 seed depending on the Marlinton Louisville game.
Like it matters. LOL
No one wants to be the 7 or 8 seed. With the 5 or 6 atleast you have a shot at the next round.

As long as you are in the top 4 for home field . Marlington will have the home field when we play them in Canton . Unless Austintown is open that week and then it will be neutral. We need to start giving the higher seeded team atleast two home games in the playoffs or if a 5 seed team fights its way into getting a second round game at home . 5 playoff games I think the igher seeded teams deserve more than one home gameDarkon;515408 wrote:WTOV9 may have missed some points for Marlington. Of course, a Steubenville fan making the case for more home games.

It looks like WTOV9 made adjustments.
