YES health care costs in this country are on the rise. While there have been PLENTY of past threads discussing this topic, suffice it to say that poorly conceived federal mandates won't solve the problem.

Clinton's balanced budget....I salute the Congress. Bush's illegal wars? That was the Congress' fault. Obamas wars? Congress' fault too. The 3 to 2 ratio in expanding the national debt...under GOP presidents vs. Democrats....since 1980, it was the Congress signing things.

Um, Congress gave the president the authority to do what he did, thereby making them legal. Smart? Intelligent? That's for another thread.

Congress shares the blame here (as fish pointed out). The president's sharing of ideology with a majority in the House and a filibuster proof majority in the Senate put the "spending" of tax and spend liberalism on steroids.
