Laffey vs Harang

Someone has to win....and this will be the first ever vbookie event in Ohio Chatter history....providing I didn't mess it up....which could be a vbookie event in itself

Phillips and Bruce HR

Gotta go with Harang over Laffey in this one. I wagered on this one, I think it was a pretty small bet

I'll tell you...the bet may not happen on anything I've done....I keep inputting the accept bids deadline.....and then input a LATER time for the bid payout.....but on every thread I did it keeps showing the same time for the payout???? I don't know why it would matter but if it does then none of my current threads will work. I've been asking for help. I'm afraid to start another one.....I look dumb enough as is.

I dont know if you can do it, but for head to head match-ups you guys should really look into making lines as opposed to odds.

I got 50v's on the Big Red Machine tonight. I would have put 500 on them had I known at the time I placed my bet that Laffey was pitching.

Brandon Phillips 2b
Orlando Cabrera ss
Joey Votto 1b
Scott Rolen 3b
Jonny Gomez lf
Jay Bruce rf
Drew Stubbs cf
Ramon Hernandez c
Aaron Harang p

Dusty put Phillips in the 1 spot to relieve Cabrera of his leadoff spot because of his struggles...so he moves him to the 2 spot?!!!?

It would be nice to have Hanigan right now. You could slide him into the #2 spot and then slide Stubbs/Heisey and Cabrera into the 7 and 8 spots

I promise to start mixing up the vbookie stuff....feet are still pretty damp. I have several ideas and I'm creative enough to keep it interesting,,,but feel free to post on here any lines or ideas you may be interested in

Total runs <8
Jonny Gomes helmet adjustments >15
# of pitches Brandon Phillips sees <15
# of pitches by Cueto in the 3rd inning
Longest last name by a pitcher in game 2

Bringing Laffey up once again shows how badly the guys in charge of this organization stink.

I like the prop bets! Too bad you can only do Reds stuff on some of it.

Reds showing some excellent situational hitting, scoring three runs in the 3rd with each of the three RBIs not being on base hits. After Phillips and Cabrera set up the inning with a single and a double to have 2nd and 3rd with no out, there was not another hit in the inning. Two walks and two sacrifice flies. We'll see if Harnag can stand the properity of a 5-0 lead after 3 innings.

A line example would be something like the Reds -1.5, meaning the Reds would have to win by at least 2 to win the bet.

I'm fine with the odds to win the game if you just keep it the way it is.

Santana breaks a 0-10 mini slump with a 2-run bomb.
Reds still up,5-2.

Poor situational pitching by Harang. Ahead 5-0 he gives up a walk which gets the Indians back in the game when Santana homers for two runs rather than just one. Santana hurts himself on the HR AB.

Reds starting to pour it on the mistake on the lake as they take a 9-2 lead with one out on the Reds half of the fifth.
